My external cd wa working fine but it had an old iPhone end so I bought a converter to be able to play from my iPhone 5. When I press cd twice it shows that it recognizes it and starts playing, after 30 second it stops completely. When I try to redo it even though it is connected it says NO DISC or it just stays at EX 1 but no sound.... Anybody had the similar problem?

Best I can say is see if it is exactly 30 seconds, and make sure there is no power save function on the phone..
