2004 Mazda RX8, Indiana

I was jump started in July by AAA. Grounded one of the cables on engine, flames, sparkes and smoke came from the cable. The man tfrom AAA said he had never seen anything like it before. He showed me where the cable was singed by the fire. I had car towed to Mazda dealer, 15 fuses blown, need new Fuse box wiring harness and amplifier. Can drive car but have been advised not to go out of town because the wiring harness could stop working at any time and no music.

I am looking for both parts.
Have any of you experienced anything like this??
Towing company said its not their fault.

Whose fault do they think it is?

Unless you signed a release or hooked up the cables it is not your fault

It should also be covered by car insurance or there liability insurance
