Greetings all,

I was unable to start my RX8 (now with 13,500 miles) this week. I tried the normal flooded restart advice with no success. Called Mazda roadside assistance, and got the car to the dealer with no issues. I called the dealer and told them that I thought I had flooded it from a short start/stop cycle.

They checked it out and found that the fuse to the fuel pump was blown. So, after replacing the fuse, restarting the car and blowing the fuse yet again the looked deeper. They found a short in the wiring harness and fixed it. Weird eh?

They also reflashed the ECU while they were at it. I am amazed by the performance improvement with the M reflash!
