Another rattling but a little diferent

Okay Guys, I have the same rattle ( video below) under LOAD, WOT or acceleration only at around 5.5 to 6k rpm and then it disappears. It happens in every gear and there is no sound if i redline it or reach 5.5 to 6k rpm a little gently. The rattle noise is identical to the following video. i don't know who's this guy.

The only Difference in this video is that he can make the sound while revving at those rpms while mine does it under load only

I have a Gutted CAT so can not be a clogged or broken CAT, I feel NO POWER LOSS and no trouble to get to redline. No hot or cold start issues.

My guesses are worn motor mount or Bad fuel but i run premium and it started to happen only from 2 weeks back. It does not sound like SSV also.

You aren't likely to get an immediate answer on a Sunday, even from a shop.
Not to mention, it's been on here barely over 1 day, that 1 day again being a Sunday.
If the above listed forum is better for you, I'm sure you're more than welcome to use it.

Aside from that, the sound quality of that video makes it difficult to hear the noise at all. Are you able to get a clip from outside?

Well, since this isn't an actual video of your car and you say it's the same exact noise, did you check what the comments on the video said to check. The 2nd comment said he had the exact same sound. Unfortunately that sound could be a bunch of stuff. It sounds like you have some hot metal on metal action.
I would actually try to post a video of your car making the noise, the quality as Dom said above isn't the best and it's kinda hard to make out.

Aren't we entitled

I don't think it's your motor mount, that doesn't manifest in an rpm-specific rattle. Easy enough to check if you're next to the car and not, you know, on the internet.

How's your coolant level? If it's low or has been filled and not burped, this could be bubbles in the coolant.

A video would help, but at the end of the day, you're the one in the car, you are the only one who can narrow this down and eliminate some things it is not. At a minimum try to figure out which part of the car is making the noise. You might realize that watching a video makes that very difficult. This is going to have to be one of those times where the internet can't hold your hand, but a little different.

Cmon pearl, this forum has helped you so much. I can't remember everything you've posted but I clearly remember these guys helping you diagnose and solve the overheating problem you were having.

I saw this post yesterday. I didn't comment because I had no clue what it is. Maybe others didn't because they didn't know either. But i'm sure someone will come along who knows about this noise and help you out.

Chill out man

That sounds like detonation. What's the highest octane fuel you can get in your area? If you can get 100 octane, fill up with that and see if the sound goes away.

How im gonna make a video from outside when my 8 only does it on ONLY acceleration between 5k and 6k rpm.

@ Dominarian : How im gonna make a video from outside when my 8 only does it on ONLY acceleration between 5k and 6k rpm.

@ PN_Wheel : My exhaust is not touching anything. yes, it could be a bunch of things. So far, after all the things checked, My two guesses are either mounts or detontation

@ Loki : Coolant has no bubbles. The best video is this one and my 8 does exactly like this between 5.5 and 6k rpm

@ Nisaja : Im chilled, Just wrote this for a response..lol

@ Jastreb : Please listen to the updated video. is it still detonation?

Which things have you checked and eliminated?
Is yours an auto or manual?

Could be knock, though I'm sceptical about mounts. Can you narrow down where the noise is coming from? That would help immensely. Transmission, behind glove box, engine.. Do you feel vibration through your feet when the noise happens?

Detonation sounds like someone shaking a jar full of screws under the hood. The hotter your engine gets, the louder/more distinct the sound.

The 2nd video is actually less obvious to me. Here is a video of it on my car (hot day, climbing hill)

When Loki said bubbles, he meant air bubbles stuck in the coolant system. Not bubbles coming out of the coolant reservoir. Try bleeding the coolant system. Park the car on a hill with the nose up and rev the engine to 5k rpm a few times (without letting it overheat of course ). That should get the air shifted to the reservoir.

Although I don't completely believe it, people here have said that air in coolant can create a rattling sound.

Jastreb did you fix it? You stopped posting updates on your thread.

Mine is Manual and its coming from passenger side front. I don't feel any vibration between 5k and 6k rpm when this happens and i feel no power loss. The video Jastreb posted is doing this on constant rpm. If i drive with a little less throttle and climb a hill, then i dont feel any noise, its just that when i try to WOT, this happens

RX-8 Detonation/Pinging - YouTube

Yeah it sounds like that but only on WOT. if i drive constant at this speed then nothing happens

Okay i have another problem but i don't know if its related or not.

The first video is SSV rattling and the second video is my continuous clicking. I can feel it in UIM and from the engine itself. The reason i am posting both videos is that i don't think mine is SSV related. Any diagnosis? No CEL, No loss of power and No starting issues. It only happens in IDLE, cold or hot does not matter.
