No kidding! I just want to hang around some other people that have rotaries for a change. Too bad the weather is starting to get crummy, I'm gonna have to park it for the winter soon.

So you gonna put it away for winter?

I'm slapping a bra on this year... will keep it out of snow, but this car loves cold air!!

Putting her up for the winter is not an option over here. Its my DD. I'll see how she does this winter and I may have to run out and get some snow tires.

On a bright note I'm getting to carpool so the gas prices aren't killing me like they could have.

I have the wife convince that a turbo will not only help make the car faster but may help fuel economy too.

Lets setup a meet.

Hey Jerm,
I really would like to see some WV 8's hook up somewhere.
It'll probably have to be in good weather since some of us don't DD.

Just remember the stock Bridgestones don't do well in the cold - period.
I have seen a couple of 8's at the Mazda body shop that proved it.

I have had good results so far with Pirelli PZero Nero M+S in light snow.
Real snow tires cost less, but you still have to buy wheels or re-mount them.

It would be nice to see some of your 8's. I love my 8 and have been driving it as much as possible. I bought it recently w/ 10.5k on it and I already have 13.2k. I don't mind driving it in the rain too much; however, I don't like the idea of getting snow slopped all over it by other drivers (especially semi's)... that and the salt and cinders. I figure as it sits in the garage this winter I can buy some presents for it. Anyway, let me know when everyone decides to get together.

I'm down for whenever. I'll be driving it all winter as long as it lets me

Its rolling on Kumho SPTs which I don't expect to work all that well in the snow.

If it stops raining and the wind calms down I'm gonna wash mine this weekend and try to detail the innards again.

Spotted!

Who is driving the VR that was parked @ Charleston Lincoln Mercury around 17:25 Thursday?
I was at Arbys across the parking lot.
I know you saw me!

Also SPOTTED:
In Cross Lanes @ Speedway Wednesday around 14:30 in the Titanium 8...
I tooted!

This again proves that there are several 8's in WV.
Surely at least a couple of you are enthusiasts, POST HERE!

Mike

I was pulling into the Clarksburg Post Office the other morning (during the snow storm) and spotted a Titanium 8 w/ mirror tint and a personalized plate.

It'll all depend on whats cooking for me. I'm coaching teeball for my kids and handling general home maintenance in all my off time I would love to try though.

An install weekend might be a good idea. I have a decent garage, but no air tools or anything major, just the general tools you use to survive.

Funny you mention install...

Cool Capital City

I am in C-ton, WV every Tuesday usually from 12:00 till 7:00 Silver w/Black hood graphics and stripe back to the wing... I spotted a Yellow 8 at SouthRidge.. and another (possibly the same) parked near CAMC.

Hey, I'll keep an eye out when I'm Over there.
I play tennis at the Indoor Center (near CAMC), but mostly weekends now.

I think you have seen Rob before...
He did mention way back in this thread that he saw an 8 that fits your description.
He drives a VR. I doubt if he's put it on the road yet this year, he treats it with kid gloves..

Hey Airlock. Met you briefly at Wendy's today. The white '05.

Nice to meet you.

Seen a few 8's in Charleston. Too few people with great taste around here.

Okay...wheres all the 8's in the Eastern Panhandle???

I see a blue one every now and then and a Black one but they must not have PCs. Or be aware of the fancy new thang called internet.
