The catch is: Renesis tuners... I would try PF Supercars in Fredrick, they are the only tuners I trusted with my FD.

Just received my 8 two days ago and I must agree, there is nothing better than driving it around here. It's my first 8, but my third rotary (still have an FC) and talk about the "wow" factor. Everywhere I take it people are all over it. I've put 400 miles on it already. I must admit, I considered a few other cars as options, but I am beyond happy that I chose the 8.
I like the car alot so far. So does the wife, which is surprising coming from the Audi.
She just wishes the car had more power. I laughed and said wait til spring sweetheart. Petite Racing shall fill that void nicely
Throw up a hand when you see the Yellow bird around

Been travelling from Summersville to Teays Valley for the past 2 weeks for training at ICG (International Coal Group) and have seen a few 8's. Another yellow (mine is yellow), a white one near the huntington mall, several reds....
Just wanted to say "hey" to my fellow eighters. We got the snazziest looking car on the roads!!!

You guys need to come to Harpers Ferry this weekend (Oct. 5th-7th). Were having a Mazda3 East Coast Mega Meet there. But, it's not all exclusive to 3's. There are 6's, Miata's, Protege's, Mazdaspeed vehicles, etc. attending this. It will be really fun and we would love for some 8/and other rotary drivers to come up. Saturday will be the day of people meeting and driving around Harpers Ferry for photos and other stuff. I put a thread in the NE section here. Here is the link to mazda3forums.com though for the meet. http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=84857.0
Not sure where your Spotted thread is, I looked for it, but didn't find it. I picked up my Whitewater Pearl GT Saturday morning from Cincinatti, and around 1-2pm, I hooked up with a Sport(?) Galaxy Grey with WV tags. We spent about an hour or so carving through the Eastern Ohio mountains on I-70 eastbound at greater-than-legal speeds. Separated just before Wheeling Ohio.
Just in case it one one of you, thanks for the fun!

Yes, lovely scenery... oh, OTHER than the 2 RX-8s? yeah, it was cool, wasn't watching much other than us 2, the road, and obstacles...um, cars.
Not sure what Pgh is, I live in Rhode Island, but was taking 70 east, 79 south, 68 east, then 522 south to my brother's house for the night, before heading east into Maryland, show it off to some long-time friends, and then up 95 home.
I am thinking that we linked up around I-77 interchange, and parted at 470/70 split just before wheeling.

Long drive!
Pgh is Pittsburgh, by the way.
The best long distance drive of my life, and I have had many good ones. I fall in love with it all over again every morning leaving for work, and every afternoon as I head home. Such a perfect car...doesn't even sound right calling it a 'car'.
Think I saw you
I was in Lavale, MD on Saturday and spotted a yellow 8 while I was at the light in front of Highland H-D. My g/f actually saw it first and pointed it out, but it was too late for me to wave. If that was you,
Sorry I missed ya. I also saw an 8 on the way to MD along I-68, it was kind of sunny out but it was silver or gray; not sure if you saw me wave because of the tint, but I did.

I did meet an attractive lady in Cross Lanes a couple of weeks ago that I thought was one of my buddies until I rolled up on her. Now she waves & toots every time we pass each other. She drives an AT SS.
I don't locate many yellows in this area at all, probably 3 in the past year!
Sounds like we need to get a Mountain Meet together one of these days...
