Where are you in Northern Virginia? Sheetz and Citgo out on Rt. 50 just west of Dulles are consistently 10-15 cents less per gallon than Mobil etc.

www.upromise.com -you register your cc's and grocery cards, and you get money back for education (you and/or your kids) on purchases online and at places like Exxon/Mobil, and restaurants. We've managed to collect over $100 in the past year, and that was without even trying. Granted, not a ton of money, but we still have 20 years to go, at least, since we're not thinking about kids for another couple years.

Don't know if it's the best, but I've been using Shell for years - 5% discount if you use a Shell Credit Card (1% rebate on non-Shell purchases towards Shell gas). I'm using 87 octane for 4k miles in the RX-8 with no issues so far.

I use Exxon and Mobil, and only used 93 octane. 9200 miles and no issues.

Ditto.

I didn't see you pulling into an Exxon station in Orange, VA this afternoon, did I?

First time I've seen a red RX-8 on the road. Just wondering if it's anyone on the board.

I have been using BP, Exxon Gas or whatever they sell at FT. Belvoir. The only gas I wouldn't use is Chevron. The last time I used Chevron my car sounded weird and didn't seem to have as much go to it.
