Nope, when you move down a size on the rim you move up a size on the tyres so they are always the same diameter.

BTW the photo is 18s, I photoshop the SSR over your existing wheel size.

Off of top of my head I can think of this wheel:

OZ Crono Evolution.

Actually fit your car too, they have them at tirerack.com $309 a piece for 18x7".

Will that bolt pattern work on my car Hanzo? I don't know if I would like to see several unused holes on my rims : )

Of course other wise I wouldn't post it. You better buy quick, they just lowered the price ($279) on the one that fits. Go to: http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_gara...4&autoModClar=

That is the way that particular wheel is designed. You won't have uneven looking bolt holes. Here is an example of the 5 lug one (the one that fits yours):

Just wanted to get some opinions, does gold rims look ghetto on a black 8? I personally don't think so, but I'd hate to roll into the hospital parking lot and others think that I'm selling crack or something.
Found another place that carries the JDM SSR Type C wheels:

Wow no posts in almost a day! Just thought I would update you on my car problems. Looks like a few of us are going to try to get a class action suit against Mazda. I doubt this actually happens but maybe it will be enough to get Mazda to get off their collective asses and admit to the problem and maybe do something about this issue.

: )

Not trying to depress you but here is a post from a lady on the YahooGroups RX8 forum. She was having continual problems and the dealer finally promised to buy-back the car. This is the latest update I have seen on her situation. She was responding to a query by someone else on the forum, whether to get an RX-8, a G35 or an RSX.

From: Christine Eisenfeld <ceisenfeld@yahoo.com>
Delivered-To: mailing list RX8@yahoogroups.com
Date: Wed, 4 Feb 2004 06:56:56 -0800 (PST)
Subject: Re: [RX8] Trying to make a decision

DON'T BUY THIS CAR! I owned my RX-8 for only 3 months before I got rid of it. The engine flooded constantly. I found out if the car isn't driven for at least 5 min. before turning it off, it will flood, and believe me, it did.(I would pull it out of the driveway so my husband could pull his car in, and then the 8 would flood!) It also guzzled gas, getting only 13 MPG.

Mazda tried unsuccessfully to fix it permanantly. They told me that Mazda corporate would buy it back, and then 6 days later reneged. Boy, did I get screwed by Mazda. I'll never buy another car from them or the dealership, Jim Ellis in Atlanta. I looked at an Acura RSX, but fell in love with the TSX instead. It was even a little cheaper than the 8, and comes standard with leather, moonroof, 6-CD changer, heated seats, and lots more you'd pay extra for if you buy an 8.

Maybe mine was just a fluke, but it was an expensive and Frustrating experience for me, so be careful. Mazda lies!

Chris

One of my coworkers saw a silver 8 with a "fin that looks like an upside down bracket" on 295 headed towards Mechanicsville. Anyone, anyone? (Though I've got my suspicions...)

I love my 8....and I know how to keep from flooding it. People just need to know how to take care of their 8.

BUT! I want better gas milage PERIOD.
