You guys suck. While you were having fun, I was freezing my butt off measuring walls in our half-done house, and then waiting on not-so-bright people at my other job all afternoon. Never even got a chance to drive my car!!

How was the Subaru meet, then? Sounds like it was a lot of fun!

Dude we were wondering where you went, we thought you ditched us. Come next friday and don't disappear on us again.

The Subaru meet was big, about 30 - 40 cars, I took a lot of pictures and will post them soon but mostly Subarus so might not be of interest to most of you. I'll post them anyway when I get a chance.

You're coming Thursday, right? Your wife looked really nice, but kinda like she was bored with all the car people-if you bring her Thursday maybe we'll get a chance to talk. And we wondered where you went- we just went downstairs to California Pizza Kitchen since 9k-Rever was starving.

Dragonfruit, here are the specs of the rim you need:

RX-8 (SE3P)
Bolt pattern: 5/114.3

(front) 17x8.0J +40 245/45-17
(rear) 17x9.0J +40 265/40-17

(front) 18x8.5J +40 225/45-18
(rear) 18x9.5J +40 245/40-18

Or you can do same size all the way around (front and rear) like the stock setting.

SSR type C (SSR comps) does make the right size and offset for your car you just have to find a place that sells them.

Awesome, thanks Hanzo. I knew the guy on the phone at tirerack was talking out of his *** when he told me that they have the silver rim but the gold one is made only for WRX's. Just wanted to get some opinions, does gold rims look ghetto on a black 8? I personally don't think so, but I'd hate to roll into the hospital parking lot and others think that I'm selling crack or something.

I like to hide out in hospital parking lots to egg on stressed out residents so that they will race me.:D Just joking but I'm starting internship in the summer at a hospital somewhere so I gotta look the part you know. Just wondering if gold rims would be a bit too much. Well let me know! I'm hungry who wants to get some food? I'm still running on the burger I had from 4pm yesterday.

17" or 18"? Will it throw off my speedo if I get the smaller 17" rims?
