RB DR to be specific. Last thing we want is a thread saying "WTF you guys told me the RB pipe was quiet! I bought a RB race pipe and it's loud as **** and I got 7 tickets in addition to my kitten going deaf!".

Ionno my ears are just not liking loud exhaust, it sure SOUNDS good.. so thats not the problem.

and I dont want to go back to stock exhaust because then I have nothing, I figure the RB Rev8 would be the best compromise considering I have the RB DR midpipe..

Yes, they're powercoated gold.

j/k. The picture was taken under sodium lights, so everything was orange. Tried some white balance correction in PS, but it only helped a little.

DR Racingbeat midpipe isnt realli loud compared 2 other midpipes...im running a DR RB midpipe..it has a realli quiet tone until hittin 5000-6000 rpm becomes little raspy ..sounds good but not reaalli loud as an AP midpipe....

a little rotary rasp never hurt anyone :P

i think the rasp was worst with my RP supercat + AP catback setup than my AP dual rez

Hehe, I was pretty adamant about getting a white last month. got the car inspected and flashed by mazda, and my brother helped me put in a Sohn Adapter and aux reservoir. It's my first stick, but I'm learning really fast, got the hang of rev matching downshifting, but at the expense of a bit of clutch wear (hopefully I don't wear as much now that I'm used to it).

I love this car, it treats me well, my brother's AP1 was never this nice to me when he was teaching me to drive, but after getting used to the RX8, I'm able to drive her too.

I hardly take the RX8 out, it gets driven once or twice a week at most. Probably won't have much luck catching the RX8 around Brooklyn since I usually go to Long Island when I take the RX8 out .

Might be quite a hassle traveling to and from Manhattan with an RX8. Parking will definitely be a hassle also (depending on the location).
