Got the grapefruit launchers welded...quieter from the cabin...note I said the CABIN. I can't say I'd recommend their welder...rough looking job.

Wouldn't mind chillen out afterwords... BUUUUUT...Wyclef is going to be in downtown for Fridays after Sunset 15 bucks a head..so that may be worth going to if you are coming down.

Or there is always my crib..get some beers (bring your own chicks though) watch some videos.. I am always up for that.

Grrrr....well, I'm not making it tonight, because I'm currently stuck at my husband's office in Innsbrook watching him play Unreal Tournament 2004, while my 8 is back home in Midlothian in the garage. Even if we left now to go get it, I wouldn't make it in time... *sigh*

 

I live in midlo, I can get there in ~20-25 if you take the highway and do a safe 70MPH.

 

We're all the way down at Hull and Genito- even with no traffic, I've never been able to make it in less than 35 minutes, going all the way to Short Pump. Maybe I just don't know all the secret ways yet . Anyway, I was driving a truck today, which really slowed me down. Oh well. Hope you guys had fun.

Changed my transmission fluid, shifts MUCH nicer cold, better when warmed up, but the clouds came and I couldn't swap out the hydraulics.

Other than that, moving out from living with my ex-GF (FREEDOM!), work, blah de blah...

Moving of all places to home with the rents...yeah, that was a tough ******* call. But I'm going to save up a few grand QUICK so my brother and I can go in and buy some rental property, most likely down in colonial heights...4 unit buildings don't come on the uber cheap, but being a property owner is the best lazy way to richness! :o

You have no idea. On the good side of things, they're willing (my brother too) to pay me all kinds of money to do routine maintence on their cars. All I'm asking for is tools .

Example:
Mom has a coupon for a "spring upkeep" which is a freaking 99.95 oil change/coolant change...that's if they even change the coolant. My brother is asking for me to change every fluid in his car, IE, coolant, hydraulics (brake/clutch), transmission, and oil.

I can make a profit by living at home! :D

 

BTW, I'm still slightly jealous of this "traction control"...

I finally did my 6CD install today and rescued your Coldplay CD. It only took an extra 2-3 minutes as only one connector is needed to enable EJECT.

Let me know when we can get together so I can pass the CD and CD player back to you.

Next project ... installing strakes!

BTW, how would you like to buy my old RX-8 single-CD player. That way you would have a matched set for bookends.

 

Got the M flash done last week at Capitol Mazda, my gas mileage stayed about the same... 226 miles and 13.1 gallons=17mpg. Before the flash I was getting 15.2-17 mpg, and I think I was taking it easy on this last tank of gas. The engine sounds somewhat different to me in the lower rpm's, almost seem louder, but could be my imagination or from having AC on as well. High rpm's are definitely smoother.

I think I need to buy some Zaino, I'm starting to see a bunch of swirl marks on my car and I think it's time for a waxing.

I missed the Friday meet, I heard there was a huge showing. Too bad I had family in town and had to hang out with them.

Where is thetick? I PM'ed him about where he got his clear corners but not reply. Still alive?

 

With the AC on the car will consume more gas.
