Sorry I missed this one, I had to work this weekend. I stopped by about 6:00, saw several of your cars, there were two chicks in the parking lot checking out Dan's blue ride

I second that it was alot of fun the weather was nice too but we also had alot of nice cars out there thanks for everyone who came and took the time to hang with us.. we should do it again. and yes anyone has pics to put up???

pics soon. I think I take the award for furthest drive at 2 hrs. (I think) It was alot of fun. Even my gf said it was alright! Coming out of that, All I gotta say is "**** RENT-A-COPS!!!" Douchebags have nothing better to do than harass a bunch of people with nice cars? I thought it was kinda funny that one of the quasi-cops asked me whether our cars were FWD or RWD.
RAC1: "You guys cant hang around here!!"
RAC2: "Yeah, we told you to leave once already"
Us: "We DID leave! We went inside and ate!"
RAC1: "Oh, well, uh, your hoods were open, and you cant do that."
Us: "Thats guy's gone. He went home. Can't we wait for two other drivers?"

It was great hangin out wit yall today.. Landon what is that wheel cleaner stuff again.. for tire shine i still stick wit Black magic tire foam.

Dupont Teflon Wheel Cleaner... Its like 4 bucks at advance auto parts or autozone. If you cant find it let me know and Ill grab some for ya.
Oh yeah, steakboy you DEF. get the award for furthest traveled and get a gold star for making it all the way to the meet avoiding all the cops on the road (minus the busted *** rent-a-cops)

Yeah, it was a good time. Too bad the rac's broke it up so quickly. When everyone bailed to go to the buffet I was originally just going to take the long way there for fun. On the way out I passed three county cops so I just kept going. Glad to see they weren't on their way to hassle you guys.

Ya know we just finished up one meet with a fairly good turnout and im already working on another one… Rent a cop free of course. There are a few things I'm kicking around and I want to get a feel for what everyone would want and at the same time keep it within a reasonable distance for everyone and keep it within reason money wise.
First Idea: RX8 / RX7 Club BBQ. (More immediate future)

Now I have had parties at the first 2 locations and I prefer them because I can rent out an entire area for like 85 bucks for the day (think is still the rate). I don’t know much about sandy point though it’s just some place that popped into my head but hey I am open to more locations. Cost on this is low. I can cover the location rental charge (any donations toward it are welcome too) but for food id say everyone chip in a few bucks and bring something and I think we would all be good to go. Best of all NO RAC’s to bug us and PLENTY of parking in our own private lot. One down side to Quiet Waters Park, it costs 5 bucks to get into the park for the day (which still aint bad). Allen’s Pond is 100% free but it has a tendency to be a little crowded on the weekends
Second Idea (for a later date): GROUP TRIP
With this we have a few options.
First – Deep Creek Lake / Wisp Ski Resort
Cost: Varies
With this the cost can be as low as say 150pp to about 300pp for an entire weekend.
For example;
The cabin I usually rent (go here - http://deepcreekresort.com/view.asp?selectviewQ=123) has a going fall rate 650 for a weekend + 150 for an extra day (they bill a weekend as 2 days 1 night so you need to buy 1 more night to make it a true weekend) for a total cost of 800 for the weekend. Now this place can sleep 12 people and has 4 rooms and pull out beds, so lets say if we all go and put 8 people in there that comes out to 100 per person + gas & cost for skiing at wisp (unless you have a turbo rx8 **cough cough SEAN cough cough** then your cost will break down like this. 100 for the cabin, 3 bucks in gas to start the car, 4 bucks to pull out the drive way, then maybe 30 more EACH way in gas for the trip and then the cost for skiing LOL)
Second – Everyone roll up to 6 flags (New Jersey is better than the one here in MD)
Cost – 40 bucks per person for a ticket (unless you have a season pass)
10 bucks to park + gas & food
Third – Ocean City or Atlantic City Weekend
Cost – No ******* clue
This one is simple… Either go to the beach for the weekend at OC or go get our gamble on in Atlantic City
Fourth – BOOZE CRUISE

well a nice cruise up to Jersey sounds fun.. or even all of us meet up for a trip to OC.. as an all day even.. like we meed up around 6am-7am at some location and caravan to OC, MD.. or Deleware.. dont matter.. :-D.. i just like to drive.. dont have to be a fast drive say 70-90mph is good enough..

That trip to oc sounds good...how much is it? oc is almost never cheap but i would def be open to it. Let me know. As far as the sking though... thats a little down the line. Right now i want to see if i can get a BBQ off the ground before it gets cold and stuff that is if others are up for a bbq or something

Sorry I couldn't make the Arundel Mills meet. I found it interesting that you guys had problems with the RAC too. A friend of mine is in a GTO club and they had the same problems with those guys during their meet at Arundel Mills.
