Going on Steakboy's advice, I'm starting a new thread about this. I've missed both OC car shows this summer, but I'm finally getting to the beach from 9/9 thru 9/16. If anyone's in the area during that time, or would like to take a day trip sometime that week, I'd be very interested in setting up a meet in Ocean City. Hopefully, we could get a few of us together!

Well, I believe that Wed-Fri that week is considered 'Bike Week', so there will probably be tons of them around. I'm sure we could find our small corner somewhere.

Hey i'm always looking for a reason to head down to the beach. Let me know on a date i'll come down for an overnight stay. It would have to be over the weekend though

 

Hmmmm if you get a meet going, I could possibly get off work to take a trip down but it all depends on my job but it sounds cool!

Well guys, if you need a weekend day, then the 10th would be the day. I'm probably leaving early on the following Saturday, so that wouldn't work. I'm available all week as well.

i'm in i live in salisbury so i can always shoot on down. just set a day.

 

Right now it looks like Sunday, Sept. 10th. Anybody have a recommendation on where to meet? The Convention Center's always an obvious choice... just not sure what's going on in the parking lot that day. I think there is some kind of power boat convention, but if it's too filled up, I'm sure we can find another place for our small group. Too bad we can't drive on the beach, like you can down in Daytona!

 

Convention Center sounds good to me. Hey, Olorin, do you play paintball? some guys are playing sunday if you wanna. (this sunday the 3rd BTW)

I doubt it will be, unless it just rains heavily all of next week too. I've been down there during a couple hurricanes and OC recovers pretty quickly thanks to improved drainage on Coastal Hwy. Anyway, the extended forecast is showing a few scattered storms during the week (may not even get any rain), and mostly sunny skies next weekend!

P.S Steakboy: Never played paintball in my life! I'll have to see if I have time to play while down there...

Oh, oh... sorry 'bout that... for some reason I thought you meant we could play next weekend in OC. Unfortunately I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend (including work on the 8) and I won't be able to play.

where do you play paintball, and what type? do you play a lot?

 

It's at a guy's property in Roxanna, DE where he set up a large woods course. I play woods and speedball, but i like woods better. I play when I can, but it's been about 2 months.
