They resurfaced the rotors. And there will be no window deflectors.

I assume from your reply that resurfacing is bad. Didn't know that—so, of course, I didn't ask why. I told 'em the front rotors were grooved, they looked, agreed, and resurfaced 'em, covered under warranty. (Just so you know, the brakes have always worked great. Good strong stops, no squeaks or squeals.) Why does it blow? This is one of Mazda's best dealerships in the country—one of the few that everyone really likes—so I just assumed they know what they're doing.

Well if it was under warranty then it is ok providing they know why they were grooved and that it will not happen again.

Yeah resurfacing is a way of getting a little more life out of your rotors. Its not recommended but its been done for years. If your rotors had deep groves on them, which is normal depending on how hard you brake etc.

Are new brake rotors under warranty, go back and ask them for new rotors and pads =)
