Yeah, its a Garmin and it's worthless sometimes. I got the one with traffic alerts... it totally lies. I'll be in gridlock traffic and it says nothing...when the road is clear, it says "trehfick ahaid" (that's my aussie phonetic pronunciation of traffic ahead ) I like when he says Maryland...he's like Mahhriilahnd haha. I don't use Samantha cuz she's kinda bitchy. What I think we should be able to do is do our own voices...and then when it says things like "recalculating"..instead I'd have it say "what are you doing!? You didn't listen!" "I told you to turn here dumbass.." or "Turn around stupid" haha. At least it would make me laugh.

 

I think Snoop Dogg is an option on TomToms? I can't remember but he added some of his own uhhh colloquialisms

I had a great time also! I learned a few things about 8's and PUMA's.

 

i have the one with the traffic as well, and that was a stupid buy, considering like you said its wrong and my iphone has a free app that tells me the correct traffic conditions, just kinda hard to juggle both at the same time. i like the disappointed way she says recalculating, she seems so defeated, which is great because i tend to stray off course on purpose. The last thing i need is my voice on there, i'd like to get the movie preview guy to do mine. Coming soon to a road near you, a right turn.

 

Change it to Samuel Jackson.... then you'll be berated into driving the right way all the time!

Looks like a good time guys. I got stuck at work (only manager on duty). I was only supposed to work until 1:00pm but the other manager who was replacing did not show up until 4pm. Claimed he got stuck in race traffic (Dover) but he was no where even close to the race or any traffic from the race. That *%*(&^$ made me miss the meet. Nice pics. Looks like it turned out great. I will have to catch the next one.

 

the meet was great and it was great to meet everybody. I hope to be able to make it to more meets in the future.

Samuel L. Jackson would be awesome!! But, I think Joe Pesci would be outstanding!!! I just watched My Cousin Vinny for the millionth time...I love the part on grits. That's the best! Excellent choices...excellent.

Too bad my Garmin will be useless in Germany...I've gotta figure out how to remedy that.

hey...glad to see everyone had a good time....

i am driving the fj at this point...the 8 needs a new battery...
during the blizzard and rest of the winter months i was laid up
with a fractured ankle...had to have surgery and couldnt drive for 2 months...
