My RNLTD is 31 August, but I'm trying to roll out by 27 August to give myself a couple days to chill and adapt to the time change. My car will be leaving sooner...most likely I'll drive her up to the port to be shipped the last week in July. So if I don't have a ton of outprocessing, I'll try n be at the July meet...wherever that is.

I also shot some video, but I am in finals weeks for my master's degree and there wont be time to edit and post it till i get my school work done. I am paying a fortune for this degree and it comes first right now, your understand. I took valuable time off just to attend the event. Glad I did, it was fun.

Since not everyone can make it out to OC and afford a overnight stay at a hotel/'s with outrageous rates.

It would be wise to just continue the regular Monthly Sushi meet for Maryland somewhere here. Not to have people pick which meet they would rather want to do we can setup a meet on June 20th. So those who went to OC can still hit the regular meet on their way home, if they so choose so.

We can setup something in Annapolis, which is about 2 hours away from OC and 25min from Baltimore. That should be a decent central meeting spot.

There are multiple crab shacks, sushi resturants, and just about everything else.



Please discuss.

I was thinking that too, if we can find a place in OC to support the amount of cars parked in one area then im game.

 

I don't know if this affects anyone else, but the 20th is Fathers Day. I wouldn't be able to meet that day. What about having it on the 27th?

 

ah yes, completely forgot. I think 27th will be fine, but i know for sure anyone going to OC meet out of state will not come to regular sushi meet.

This is way to confusing, we might just end up skipping MD meet all together.

Might be able to push the meet on the 19th (saturday) in OC for the day and if people want can stay there over night into 20th. But at least that will give people fathers day free.

If we cant figure something out by the end of next week, then it will be the overnight OC meet taking place.

 

When's everyone heading down? Maybe we can do one on everyone's way down in Annapolis or just over the bridge.

 

Im not sure, none of that has been discussed. All the OC meet thread is about is what hotel are you booking. There are no times of meeting or caravan info or even a place to go for those who don't want to stay.

 

Yeah, I don't think they have that figured out yet. Maybe we can come up with a place for everyone to meet on their way down to OC. We can have lunch, take pictures, and hang out.

That way, everyone going down can meet up and caravan the rest of the way. And the rest not going can either hang out longer or go home.

 

adam should probably come up with where to meet since that are is his expertise....I don't see any problems with meeting up in naptown for a good meal.

Though I figured the caravan going to the beach would leave early in the am to get some beach time before we all had to check in...but it's up to you all note: traffic for the bridge will be hellacious between 9 - 2 or somewhere around there...adam can give you a more accurate estimate
