I'll be there all 3 days with my girlfriend, I'm taking off work on monday.

Does anyone know what time the parade laps are on Saturday??? I don't know what time we'll be getting up there....

We're bringing up the tent and just camping on the Lime Rock grounds, we'll find a somewhat secluded area or something. Is anyone else camping out?? It's easier (right at the track), cheaper (free!) and more fun (as long as the weather's nice...) than finding a hotel!

sounds like a plan. I tried to do this with my girl but she wouldnt have it. So the only place available was in torrington which was about 20 minutes away from limerock. I will be attending the entire weekend. Will be driving up every day now that im resting up in CT about 1 hour away

I'll be driving there early Saturday morning and staying the rest of the weekend. I found a place in Norfolk, about 20 minutes away I guess.

Bought my 2 weekend tickets from Mike a minute ago. Will be driving down from Montreal with GF. Now I only need fo figure out if we'll attend saturday or not, and find a place to sleep!

This is my "RX-8" weekend of the summer... nice long drive thru the Adirondacks, then some racing action with Mazda Corral and all... woohoo!

Update from Marlon (Lead guy for Mazdaspeed Corral):

If you guys need any addiitional information, please PM me. I have a lot going on, planning other events for Mazda across the country, so be patient. You have to be 18 to drive the parade lap, passengers can be any age.

All of the drivers from all of the Mazda teams will be there to sign autographs, take pictures, ask questions. You will have access that the general public will not have and you don't have to wait in line. Just an FYI, you must have the special corral ticket and parking pass, if you do not have these, you will not be allowed to participate in the corral or any of the other activites planned for the weekend.

I was just @ VIR and spoke to all of the drivers and crews of all of the Mazda teams, they are just as excited as we are about the event. Craig Stone and Jameson Riley can't wait to get involved, and the owner of Racers Edge may bring his 2nd Gen RX-7 to the corral.

I encourage all of you that didn't make last years event to make this one, as it will be bigger and better!

MAZDASPEED CORRAL AT LIMEROCK FOR GRAND-AM SERIES

As you know we have convinced LIMEROCK to allow us to have a car meet and BBQ at limerock park on Sunday May 25th, 2008. They originally had an event planned but was cancelled. We know many of you have purchased tickets for Fri,Sat, and Monday and we wanted to complete the weekend. Those of you who didnt purchase any tickets but want to come and have a car meet, feel free to join us. PLEASE DO!!!!

There will be NO ADMISSION CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So all you rotary guys should definately come out and chill. You may also have the opportunity to have a meet and greet with the Mazda Race Teams (Speedsource, Riley Racing, Hypersport, Racers Edge, Roar Racing etc). Not 100% but damn near close.

We will be refining this portion in the oncoming weeks.

Only 1 thing you need to do is fill out a WAIVER, saying that if anything happens to you the park is not responsible.

Please NOTE: There is no racing on Sundays at LRP, therefore no parade laps. Parade laps are for ticket holders on Friday and Saturday.

ADDRESS
497 Lime Rock Road
Lakeville, CT 06039 USA

+1 860 435 5000

***Reason for pre-registering was to try and obtain some more $$$ from Mazda to sponsor catered lunches for all attendees. We were unable to get that (Come prepared), but all those that have pre-registered are guarenteed to get a Mazdaspeed Tshirt/Hat. We will def try to get extras so everyone can have some, and im pretty sure we can work that out with Mazda USA/Mazdaspeed.

Last year me and john found this nice little italian spot that has some really good heroes (eh um i mean WEDGE). I can def try and find that address and give it to you guys, its only about 15 minutes from the park.

I hope all this info helps summarize it all. I will be very busy in the oncoming weeks with projects, tests, and then Finals, so i wont be around as much.

So please come out and join the CTRA hosted meet at Limerock Park on Sunday, its FREE!.

Best Regards,

Jason, NYRA
