Yeah, Broken I saw your car, it was the first one I saw and then another galaxy grey showed up later. I was parked next to my friend's MK5 GTI with the BBS RS wheels, we were between The Crab shack and Chik Fil A

What color is yours? I saw a silver Series I, another gray Series I, and a red Series II. If you were all the way over by the Chick Fil A, I probably missed you, because I was too lazy to cross the street

I might go this Saturday, but I have a wedding to attend at 3pm that afternoon, so there's an equal chance I might not.

It looks like the Hunt Valley meet occurs every Saturday (from 8:00 - 10:00am) as well, although it will normally be much smaller than it was this past Saturday: Every Saturday Morning

I'll probably be back to this one with some frequency. I haven't posted any of my pictures from this past weekend, but the turnout was incredible; I don't think I've ever seen as many exotics in a single place at once.

 

I was the Red Series II. I didn't see another series II besides mine. Only R3 that showed up as well.

 

Delivered my car and SpecD's to Jay last night. Excited to get this thing even more clamped down to the ground.

hunt valley usually has a good amount of people regardless if it's a special event or not. about a 45 min drive for me, annapolis c&c is only 15-20 mins and on sunday mornings, i go there alot. 1 Dock street and starts around 8/8:30 if anyone ever wants to come down, higher end cars. the guy with the aventador comes quite often and to wednesday night waugh chapel in front of applebees too.

anyone here remember the crab rotary meet? possible to do another this summer, i mean, would anyone be interested?

 

I'll be trying to make it out to some more C&Cs this year, so I'm sure I'll see some of you guys. I'm doing Great Falls this Saturday if anyone wants to join me.

Before I post a wtb does anyone have a spare lens for the drivers foglight on an 04? Mines shattered

 

Just wanted to post that the rx8 has been successfully up and running for about a week now. All in all it took about 20 - 25 hours. Would have been about 10 - 15if i didn't if i didnt Strip two bolts and waste hours trying to remove them :'( lol. thankfully after getting them off I had no other major problems and i got everything swapped. Im going to post some pics later tonight. Also wanted to give a big thanks to Nathan Atkins and Wanklebolt for their assistance and use of tools haha thanks again for all the help. If anyone every needs help in the local area id be glad to help now that ive done it successfully.

Also, anyone local ever clean carbon from the intake? We have code P0410, which is either carbon blocking a valve from completely opening orrr a bad vacuum valve, the one on the side of the pump that puts air down to warm the cat up on start up

On a different note, I'm going to be getting a set of Bilstein PSS9s in the next few weeks. I've installed shocks/springs before and I know these will be similar, but it'd be great if I could get a hand putting them in. I remember having a bugger of a time on the rears, especially. Oh, and I'd wanted to install new bushings on the front control and rear trailing arms while I was at it. This is something I've never done.

Anyone down for an install day? I'll bring the beer!

I'm happy to help, and if anyone is interested, I am fabricating my own set of custom coilovers out of very high quality components for about the cost of the PSS9's
I intend to have them fabbed, dyno'ed, assembled, and installed for the WDCR-SCCA autocross in June. I'm hoping to do well enough on them to justify a start up business making coilovers.

If anyone is interested I can make you a set and tailor the characteristics of the coilover to your needs, most notably custom valving for your dampers. I'd heavily discount anyone who guinea pigs for me while i'm in the teething stages.

I'll post my progress on that in the coming weeks.
