Snow doesn't stop me :-)

The beauty of having three sets of wheels and tires, I've always got the right kind for the job!

Hey, does anyone have any say on the corksport midpipe for the RX8? I was thinking of ordering it next Friday since my work decided to give me a little bonus.

No opinion, I don't bother with power/noise mods, I just try to drive fast :-)

Pffft! It's not fast if it's not loud! Typa-R sticker needed too!!1!!!

Chris, come and get my unused TurboXS midpipe for $75. Note: Fitment may be required, which is why it's cheap.

I got an 05 shinka in Baltimore....... anyone know which pulley kit is better between the agency power, greddy, or ralco rz? I read up and heard there really is no difference but Id still like to get opinions. im already getting the aem intake and racing beat midpipe and cat back. I know there isn't no big power gain unless FI is used but that will come later down the road for me haha

Save your money. Pulley kits do nothing.

I agree, for daily driving, skip the pulleys. Good to see another Shinka owner. How long have you had it?

There was one for sale in Crofton that I wanted to look at.

$75 + Sawzall + Welder, job done.

Or you could do no power mods like me and blow all your money on good tires and be much faster O_o
BTW if you bought your tires from a corner tire shop, they probably suck....like, a lot.

RX8 Power Mods hardly work, our engine's bottle neck is the exhaust ports, so unless your going to port it, or cram extra air into it with FI, you're not going to see any gains

hey everyone ive posted a couple things on here, not much but I do follow all the chat on the Maryland forum. I have an 05 black rx8 and the motor went up on it. I have looked up walkthroughs and all and think I can replace it but would feel a little more comfortable if someone was with me that knew what they were doing. I already have the new motor and was planning on having a local mechanic do it but im tight on money and I think it will be fun to do it myself. I live in forest hill if anyone is interested in helping or anything I would appreciate any help I can get. if you want any money for your services we can discuss that later. Just respond back if anyone has any suggestions for me or tips. 2 things I do need are a hoist or cherry picker for the motor and a clutch adjustment tool. I know I can rent these but if anyone happens to have one that I could use thatd be great. Thanks everyone in advance for any help!!!

laxxman, I live near Boggs and Grafton Shop. I have a cherry picker I can loan you. I can even deliver. I think I even have a clutch alignment tool somewhere. I drive a very loud red '8 you may or may not have seen around town...

Hunt Valley Horsepower - 2nd Anniversary Meet (Saturday, April 5th from 8:00-10:00am)

https://m.facebook.com/events/741077...g&ref=bookmark

Anybody going? I'll be headed out of Frederick at 7am and from Monrovia at about 7:30am if anyone on this side of MD wants to meet up and roll. I know there are some other rotary guys (and gals) making the trip out.

Yes I actually have seen you around! I would really appreciate that. I wont be around today until later this evening around 8. If thats too late for you to drop it off I could come pick it up if you wanted. If I can get it today or even tomorrow morning that would be great. Im planning on starting it tomorrow. I was planning on renting one for sunday so let me know if I can use yours for sure or not or else I have to rent it by 4:00 today. And If you have the alignment that would also be great because the one I have was picked out by comparing pictures because they couldnt find the part number lol but I will message you my number. Thanks!!!!

I was there and saw at least 3 other RX-8s, along with an RX-3 and a few RX-7s. I probably have a shot of your car if you parked in the main lot.

This was my car (I'm not the guy in the picture though):

Hunt Valley C&C was awesome, I didnt get to see everything cause i had to leave for work at 9am.

WDCR SCCA practice event was a last, I met RX8 R3 owner Kevin and we competed in C-street class, I co-drove with my buddy Justin in his 370Z and let the 8 sit this one out:

Nice driving, as always, Nate! I have a metric shitton of photos from the event, so you shouldn't miss too much! I'm working on sorting through them all now.
