Around, got shafted about a month ago. I had like straight cash for new wheels/tires then my job dropped some BS on me that I need a couple new certs by May of this year or I be fired. So all that money went into cert training. Sucks so bad.

no im still working on it. yeah currently I still do, but if I dont. I will be going into a legal battle which will probably take all my money and Ill be eating peas and carrots haha

Neg, I need MCSE and CCNA. I was told about this like a couple weeks ago.

Well keep at it! it'll all pay off in the end, despite the brief amount of time your bosses gave you for it...everything will benefit you in the long run! ^_^

 

yeah, i didnt have enough to do the bootcamp for the training as that cost like 6k but takes about 3 weeks and I can pass then. Which is great in the short period of time I have. But i have 2 certs I need to do. So I ended up paying like 1800 per cert for self training kits.

Work + Commute time, Im around 12-14 hour days. Its hard as hell to get threw 140 hours per course.


yeah Jess the only reason Im doing this is so I can leave lol. Much more money to be had somewhere else but I need these certs for myself in order to move on.

 

IT jobs are so easy to get around DC

eastern shore, i dunno about that. Balt is much tougher to get jobs than DC

I work in alrington, va. Yea IT jobs are pretty easy to find as there everywhere. But I have a lot of competition around here also. Im young without college degree and only 4 years exp. I need the certs inorder to get the pay I want when going for a new job.
