P.S

Im looking to sell my Mazsport Race Mid-pipe... ive decided to just get a full cat-back exhaust with a cat or at least performance cat that passes emissions..

its 3" no resonator, high-flow cat, i forget how thick the flanges are but they are a nice thickness.

pm if interested

what'd i miss? lauren got her 8 back, fudd's meet sucked (once again), i still haven't done anything about getting my 8 working.

who wants to buy my turbo kit? $2000 for everything

rebuilt greddy turbo with only 300 miles on it after the rebuild
greddy intercooler and piping with couplers/clamps
hks ssqv bov already welded on
mazsport cold air intake
greddy oil pan for turbo
greddy turbo manifold

basically everything to get started with the exception of a management system. i'm keeping my Cobb AP. so that's it, first to offer up the money, i will start taking that **** off.

Lauren most certainly did not get her 8 back... and they told me it's going to be at least an additional 3 weeks because SURPRISE they found even more damage. Now we're up to 12 grand and still don't know about the tranny.

That's what I would think... but when I spoke to someone at the body shop today, they mentioned they are "heavily into the repairs".

If they were to fix 12k worth of damage, and then take it for a test drive and find out the transmission is blown, they wouldn't total it after that right? Because they've already spent so much money fixing it. Uggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It makes me sad that you are getting rid of the turbo Dan, but I guess I understand. As you said at the last meet when you blew the motor, you haven't had a lot of luck with the car. I would totally buy it all from you except I already have it all... um I'll buy the GReddy oil catch can though, my Turbo XS catch can sucks *****. I'll also bribe you to help me get my gauges installed if you are game.

Dr. Detail in Bel Air.

http://www.waxandtint.com/Home_Page.php

Myself and my boyfriend have both had our cars detailed there. Both times were excellent. I've also had 2 window tint jobs from them which were immaculate... aaaaaand then we all remember them doing my tail lights for me for free and how long that lasted.

P.s. I'm willing to pay someone to go burn my car down for me. Or at least push it off a lift or something.

By the way, did anyone see on the news a car that went down into a wooded ditch at GBMC yesterday? I go to school there so I watched the whole thing. It was pretty crazy. Some old fart jumped a curb and was stopped by a tree. I have a couple pictures I took with my cell phone. At one point, the two tow trucks almost had it out, and then the steel cable snapped off and the car crashed back down.

It looked like Jurassic Park. "I'm gonna run you over when I come back down!"

yikes, Bel Air is too far for a detail. the car would be ruined by the time i make it back home.

blackendwings - yea, i'm kind of sad the turbo thing didn't work out. the rx8 would be the ultimate car with a turbo setup, but not with the renesis. maybe one day i'll just throw in a 13B REW and be done with it. but for power, i got the 135i (it's no where near the fun of driving the 8 tho). as for the gauges, i'll help you out. just give me a holler and we'll figure out a place to do it. i may be able to help you out at my work or up at my buddy's shop near BWI.

"Detailing" to the folks down here is being clean *enough* to tell what the original color is . When you're dealing with farms, farmers and associated hazards, that's quite enough.

Westward across the 'Bridge' is another matter.

Yeah I hear you... I wouldn't keep going past 2 blown motors either. I'm expecting I'll blow one at some point, but if I can't get a reliable FI build I'll quit after 1 dead motor. I'm taking every possible precaution to make it work though so *shrug*. Hopefully you are keeping the 8 at least, even NA its one hell of a car. Besides you are a fixture in the community.

Let me know anytime you are free, I'll buy the beer/pizza. I've got all the comps for the gauge setup but have no idea what I'm doing. Do you still have my number? If not let me know and I'll PM it to ya.

Aaron

I might be down for that, my wife LOVES sushi, my only problem is that I hate sushi. Maybe I'll eat before hand and just get something to drink. What time is the next sushi thing scheduled?
