Good Rx-8 service dept in NE Ohio needed
My Mazda dealer (Cascade Mazda in Cuyahoga Falls) doesn't seem to know a lot about the Rx-8. I've experienced CEL-random misfire, oil light on at highway speed, flooding, etc. They claim to know nothing about these things and didn't know about the TSBs. They also admit they've seen few RX-8s in for service.
Does anyone know of an Rx-8 dealer in the Cleveland or Akron area that knows about the Rx-8's problems? Has anyone in the area gotten any of their problems addressed (e.g. oil pan)?
Any help would be appreciated.

I know you posted this a while ago, but I'm just now seeing it. I live in Twinsburg, OH and bought my 8 in Medina. That was a little far to go for service, so I've been taking it to Mazda of Bedford (Southern Cuyaghoga county). The helped my with the CEL and I had my first oil change done there yesterday. The seemed to be pretty knowledgable and friendly to boot! Phone number is: 440-439-2323. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad you had a good experience there with your RX-8. I've taken my Mazda Mx-6 there a long time ago and they seemed OK.
I haven't been driving my Rx-8 in the winter so I haven't taken it to the dealer for servicing yet. I'll probably wait until March and get all the recall stuff and TSBs fixed all at one time.
If you see a silver RX-8 in Twinsburg, that's me. I'm now starting to drive it again since the weather is getting warm enough.
