Hey RA, you're not part of the UpperDeck clan that frequented Crew games (and the Matchnight and Bigsoccer boards) are you?

Hmm, just saw a post of yours a while ago about someone named Jenna singing the national anthem. I believe there was someone with that name who would do Crew games, and had family members who were Crew fans.

Gotcha. My wife Jenna has sung the National Anthems at ball games but never a Crew game, let alone at Crew Stadium.

well the good news is that it looks like my premium wont be going up. if its deemed collision i get one accident forgiveness since im a long term customer w/o claims. if its determined vandalism, which it very well may be, itll be covered under comprehensive. still $500 i didnt need to spend though...

From the angle of the pic it looks like only the rear door needs replaced. If the dent was smaller I'm sure the insurance company would want to fix it then you'd have a lot of bondo in that door.

Look on the bright side(if there is) there aren't really any 8's in the salvage yards to get used parts from so you'll probably get a brand new door shell. Rotten Bastards anyway.

That's good news Brian. They'll fix it up so you would never know it happened.

Hey Guys,

I need a little help here.

I am looking for some suggestions from anyone who has received this CEL code before.

I went and had the code read and here is what the print out said...

Definition: EVAP small leak detected.

Explanation: The ECM has detedted a large leak in the EVAP system during a system monitor test.

Problem Causes:

1. Defective, loose or missing fuel cap.

2. EVAP canister broke, hose cracked or not connected.

3. Purge or vent solenoid defective.

4. Vacuum leak at engine.

Again any suggestions, ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks All!!

Most likely a gas cap. There's a TSB for this. I had mine changed - after I took it back a 2nd time for the same thing!

I didn't think it was the gas cap, because I hadn't gotten gas in about a week. Also, the gas cap seems tight.

Do you think the gas cap should be replaced?

Thanks Guys!

Yeup...I believe they re-engineered the cap and as said before, there is a TSB. I heard the cap costs like $18. I'll probably pick one up myself next time my car is in, just as a preemptive strike.

I bit on the closeout on the S03 Pole Positions at TireRack. They' sitting in my garage waiting to be mounted. I'm antsy to get them on - do you think it's too soon? No snow in the 10 day forecast.

I got the same S03 pole positions from tire rack:-) I am waiting to put them on as well. I think I may put my summer tires (ones already on the rims) and drive around a bit before i put the new pole positions on. Where would the cheapest place be to have the tires put on?

Anthony had good luck with Discount Tire somewhere on the east side, I think. I won't go back to the one in Mill Run - shoddy workmanship.

I think I'll put the wheels with the Kumhos on this weekend, then throw the new tires in the car and bring it to the guy right outside the gate here at work. He's the one that did my alignment in the Fall (which I will have to have done again when I put these on.)

if anyone here knows how to deflood my rx8 i'll give them $50 to show me how...i know it can be done without taking it to the shop

my dumbass roommates keep moving my car and shutting it off without properly letting it warm up, ive had it towed to the dealer 3 times already and i dont get angry (visibly at least) towards my roommates when it happens because im just that nice of a guy and dont feel like causing problems

i live on 13th ave towards campus...email me at kevin.cottingham@gmail.com or give me a call at 440-488-6708 if anyone can help me out

thanks...i just want to learn how to do it one time so i dont have to keep taking it to the stupid dealer
