Maybe next spring (since cold air wont be a problem for a while around here) when the summer tires go back on.

Speaking of which, anyone still running on summer tires? I am, until next weekend when I finally have some free time to swap them out. Too much travel for work recently.
The new shop is directly behind the old one. We are in Hilliard off Roberts Rd and 270.

Took it to TruePerformance. $4000 later, the 8 is back in it's full glory. It looks great but they forgot to replace the tire well insert that fell off during the storm.

The repair at TruePerformance went quite well. I think my damages came out near $4500. Stupid hail. At least the car looks better now than it did before the storm. They removed the door dings on my car so I was quite happy about that.

The wife and I have been shopping for a new car for her. After a number of test drives and research online we came down to the FJ Cruiser and the RAV4 from Toyota. I was hoping she'd choose the FJ cause it's quite a lot of fun to drive. But in the end she felt the best with the RAV4 so that's what we're likely to get in the near future. I had so much fun driving the FJ I started to consider selling the 8 for one. I must be going crazy...

Z - Don't do it! LOL!

My wife and I were in the same boat a couple months back. She test drove the two same SUVs and liked the RAV4 a lot. She felt the FJ was a little too big for her. Although I like the FJ - a purposely built rugged SUV, I was relieved because the MPG on those things scares me. We can't have two gas guzzlers in the fam.

Other noteworthy similar class SUVs we test drove are 07 Hyundai Santa Fe, 07 Mitsubishi Outlander, and 07 Honda CRV. She liked the RAV4 and Outlander the best. In the end, we realized that we didn't need anything that big so we got a Mazda3!

Happy New Years!

I'm not sure why but she wasn't "feelin" the cx7. Today we made the plunge and bought a RAV4. The car is located at Germain Toyota but they wouldn't give a good price so we bought that car through Byers Toyota instead and saved an extra $2k. Hopefully we should have the car in the begining of the week. I doubt I'd sell the 8 for the FJ, but it was fun to drive and gets the same gas millage that I get now. Probably more useful too as we start to build a house in the next year or two. I can't really move much of anything in my car. I have trouble fitting much of anything in my trunk. Maybe today is a good day to change the tires...

Sorry for the ad post but I'm in a state of emergency.

WTB stock tires. Must have at least 10,000 miles left in them (if you are looking to sell a set of 4). I need them ASAP. I got a nail in the sidewall of my back left tire and I have no other vehicle to get around in. 4 or 2 (or 1 with 20,000 miles already on them will do). PM me with any possibilites and we'll figure something out.

I'm in Dayton and will pickup all the way to Columbus.

THANKS!

With all the snow that we just got, are you sure you still want the stock tires? I think you night be better off with winter tires. Go to Tirerack.com, they've got a great assortment of tires for a decent price. Good luck!
