It was great meeting everybody this afternoon! Wish more of you could have made it, but next time I guess. Speaking of next time, maybe an end of summer meal? Maybe City Barbeque or picnic at some park or whatever. Just some ideas...I'd vote for 9/17 personally.

Here are a couple of pics from this afternoon...

My wife and I had a great time also. We talked about it afterwards and also thought some kind of meal (cookout maybe) would be a fun thing to try. Next time I vote for a sunny day.

And my wife made me drive fast as we left.

Was she also responsible for the nose plant the car made at that sudden red light! "Look Out, Comin' in Hot!" :D

Zelig, Huhwha - Great to meet you both. That bluetooth connection was awesome.

............and the group would like to have our next "social" in Hilliard, FYI.

Is there a City Barbeque out that way?

One of the best features of the 8 - the passenger cannot see the speedometer :D

Yeah - now I gotta do the bluetooth hookup in my wife's Miata

I think this is the Henerson Rd. is the closest City Barbeque - or it's the one I can find anyhow :o

It's good to see that you all met up! I'm still upset I couldn't make it!

The City Barbeque on Hendersen would be a cool spot to meet up for a grub fest. There's a Rita's Ice Cream parlor right a across the street if we wanted to keep the traditional "Ice Cream Social" going.

Forgot I live in Buckeye land! 11 years in this joint, and I still don't get it. I always use Saturdays in season for errands. It's a great time to get around - everybody is either at the stadium or in front of the tube.

I stayed away from Labor Day figuring people had other plans - like me! I'll be off on vacation with the family.

How about the 18th, or another Sunday afternoon?

Or...We can do a tailgate meet on campus somewhere to watch the game! That would be sweet!

I'll be at all the home games except maybe Northwestern (I might be going to Roanoke, VA that weekend).

I'm also "out of pocket" the weekend of the Minnesota game (10/28) for the Mazda Zoom-Zoom event up in Chicago.

Other than that, I'm up for getting together whenever.

Okay, who has a Velocity Red parked in the Watermark Apartments parking lot? It has clear corners, and strakes. I'm the TiGray that parked right next to you. My buddies said the owner's a girl.

Speaking Buckeye Football. It's just a couple weeks away fellas. I have a tailgate at the stadium every home game. It's on the top floor of the parking garage next to the east side of the stadium. I have a 9' Brutus , music, adult beverages and plenty of food. :D You are all welcome to attend. It's really nice having the stadium as a back drop for the tailgate.

FYI - I'm out of town this weekend. Buckeyes play 9/3 and then I leave for Greece 9/7 for two weeks. End of Sept. work for y'all? Sept. 25 maybe?

Leave for Greece on 9/7?? Did you check the schedule before making *those* vacation plans?

Unfortunately, the Greeks don't have the same passion for the Buckeyes as we do. I'm going to attend a wedding, so I felt it would be to pompous of me to request a re-scheduling of the event. Their shutting down a whole village for this thing! Go figure. :D

Well, at least you should be able to pay for some of the trip from the sale of your Texas-OSU tickets.

I may be one of the black 8's you've seen around. Had mine since June '04 and live down in Grove City. I work up at Tuttle, and eat Rita's Italian Ice alot My 8 is currently stock with the appearance package and spoiler.

I've been thinking about heading over to RX8Store.net to get the Revi Intake and Air Ram. Any of you guys done this, or know anything about it?

Welcome NOPR and Bothuwui!

Love the FC. You should come out to our next meeting.

My parents live in GC and I'm there quite often! I think I may have seen you around. I've heard some great things about the Rev'i Intake, and I'm leaning towards one as well. I'm not sure if any of the Columbus guys have one yet, but you can be the first and tell us all about it at the next ice cream social!

Just give a holler when you do a social. I need a good excuse to take the 8 out with gas prices the way they have been. It's getting left in the garage a lot recently.
