All - I'm racing at the SCCA Solo event at OSU on Sunday 6/15. If anyone is interested in registering or just watching, let me know.

 

I'm not interested in that at all but thanks for letting us know what's going on in your life.

I'm actually going to Giant Eagle on 6/12 to get milk, bread and eggs if anyone wants to come watch or just hang out.

beater truck or snow/all season tires for winter?

 

Performance snows - unless you're looking to have a garage queen.

 

With the lack of snow I drive my second car on those days.

Still remember doing three 360s in the middle of 161 over Westerville road last winter. It was weird the thoughts when it was happening. I was much calmer than I would have expected. Got lucky I didn't hit anything but man it was sooooo close to both guard rails and on coming traffic, not to mention that 50 foot drop.

Dang 3 360s'? Whew...I bet that was a bit nuts. I remember when I drifted around a corner cause the road was wet, a slight incline, and I didn't even take the corner that fast. I looked in my mirrors and to the right and saw everybodies face and they had the biggest eyes I tell you what. But I maintained it, prob thanks to the traction control, and came close to hitting the curb but she staightened out and I kept on rolling.

Just in case you don't get your car fix on the 21st, the World Class Driving Event is visiting Columbus next weekend as well. If somebody has an extra $1,495 burning a hole in their pocket, I would gladly accept a donation to go beat up some supercars for half a day.

Anyone know of a RX8 that has a blown motor (or no motor) that's for sale? I'm looking for something for a project I'm working on soon. I haven't heard much on the rotary failures so I'm not overly optimistic. Just thought I'd put it out there for the central Ohio people. Thanks.

Not bad for a car that will turn 5 this Oct. Wow, 5 years old. They grow up so fast.

 

I picked it up from carmax easton. I hadn't been too impressed by the condition of the private seller's cars and the dealerships around here didn't have anything with less than 50k miles.
