If we wanna have a meet, we can have one in Manchester. We can hit Hooters for lunch and then hit Rt 149 to Hillsboro (45min drive). 149 has some great twisties on freshly paved roads.

Let me know if folks are interested and we can plan this up...

PS I know I'm not from MA, but thought I'd throw something out for a late in the season run...
manchester... mass? or NH? if theres a meet any time soon within an hour or two drive from me, i'll attend

For the Spring time I'd sooo love to get a Meet & Greet if ya will in Nantasket Beach in Hull. I know it would be far for some of us (a 45min drive for me) but its a decent drive and they've cleaned it up a little bit since last I've been there (dated a girl 10 years ago from there UGH!).

Oh also one more thing.. gonna plant another bug in peoples ear's.. Every year around the 4th of July weekend in CT they have the American LeMans Series race at Lime Rock. They also have the Speed World Challenge tagging along with them. For the past 3 years I keep on missing it due to whatever reason but next year I don't wanna miss it and it would be soooooooo awsome to roll in with a few Rx-8's yanno!? They have a camp ground there on the grounds so I dunno just putting info out there to plant the seeds of plans
i'm only 17... no bars for me, damnit... but i'll do whatever, and i can meet basically anywhere in MA

as for manchester, NH... i can do that too

Nordic Green, do they even exist? I havent seen one in person yet, same with phantom blue. It seems like all RX-8s are either silver, grey, black, red, yellow or winning blue.

I'm drivin my 8 for the winter Winter tires/wheels going on in a few weeks. Just going to wait for the real cold snap and then do it. I don't want to burn through my winter tires before it even snows!

I am up for a meet whenever So is Jeff. We had a good time at our first one.

figured i'd make a list of all the people in the boston area who would be up for a meet some time...
- 1145climber
- HolyCross05
- my10ae (NH)
- Clavius
- Astral
- KrysyGT + Jeff

if we can get another five or so people, it'd def be worth trying to organize something before it snows... anyone else out there???

I am putting on my winters right before it snows, or if it gets to sub-32 daytime temps. Even then... I am hoping to make it through Thanksgiving w/o snow, but we know that it ain't gonna happen.

I'm sure we could get RPI-RX-8 (MA), Tigger (NH), and Spin9K (NH) to tag along for this last of the year meet.

I'd be willing to run this gathering if folks are up to it. We could hit Hooters in Manchester, NH off Exit 6 (Rt293) and then take Rt 114 to Rt 149 to Hillsboro. Maybe we could get a Hooters girl(s) to pose next to our 8's?

Thoughts?

We should probably look at a location closer to the Mass people, like somewhere in Nashua?

Honestly, I'm down for any place with good beer.

I'm in as long as it isn't this weekend. Although I think I might have to bring my new "winter beater/grocery getter" I picked up yesterday

Sounds possible depending on when with a few caveats. I've already put my winter tires on ( worn out 235/40/18 RT-615s) and put my others in storage (275/35/18s RT-615s). Purpose was to just have it sit in my garage on them. Seems one is loosing air so I'll have to check it for nails/roadworthiness. Of course no snow and/or too cold weather as I have about 2/32 of psuedo tread on these venerable donuts and I do need to live until retirement !

There's always my Turbo PT-Cruiser

Well in MA we have the downside of high denstity population so our roads are pretty straight and usualy very well driven hence no fun. Now in Vt and NH that is a different story. Low Density and very curvy roads that conform to nature instead of barreling through it. I believe I drove up to Vt on Rt81 (correct me if I'm wrong Kev) and omg it was nice.. taking long corners doing about 90mph instead of oh say 50 like you should is oh so sweeeet!!!! That and the highway was pretty much empty the entire drive up and it was on a Friday evening to boot.

For a meet in MA really depends on what ya wanna do, again come spring I'd love a Nantasket Beach Meet. Just a meet to relax enjoy the beach and see who else might of obtained a 8 since summer. Just wish you were older Climber, Holy, Myself and Astral are pretty much all around the same age (21-30) so I'm sure between us we could raise some hell in the Boston area hehe.

Also Climber where do ya live townwise? If ya want PM me lata

good call on that one... no wonder MA roads suck

i have to say, overall, my favorite highway is the merit parkway (spelling?) that heads south to CN/NY... this road isnt twisty or fun to drive really, but its BEAUTIFUL... thats just a side note though.

i live in weston... 20 minutes west of boston...
