Mazsport kits man!!!! After seeing the numbers on a "Conservitive Tune" I'm now rethinking a Super Charger route for more power. Just wish it was cheaper BUT seeing as how they give you everything for the kit save someone to install it the price seems alright. Now who wants to donate money to the "Kev-O needs more powa" fund? anyone hehehe

But you could BUY an MS3 for the installed cost of two Mazsport kits or sell the RX-8 and get practically an even trade for an MS3. No mess, no fuss...

Aren't the MS3's going for 24K? I doubt I can trade in my 8 for that much. Hopefully the prize for the Mazsport kits will go down in a couple years.

Sounds good. My husband just reminded me that the food at the Jordan's restaurant is good but a little pricey.

Movie times are:
10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm, 8:00pm, 10:00pm

"Happy Feet" opens November 18. They started promoting this at IMAX last year. We've been waiting a whole year for this to come out! If any of you haven't seen an IMAX movie, they are absolutely awesome!!!

We have an appreciation dinner we need to be to the night of the 18th, so a 2pm or earlier time will work for us, if that works for everyone else. How does meet at John Harvard's at noon and do Happy Feet at 2:00 sound?

The 18th is a Saturday Astral
Sounds good to me personaly. Been seeing more previews of this movie the last two days. Obviously a kiddie'sh movie but looks friggin' funny! Can't go wrong with Robin Williams "I know what you all want........ ME!!!!"

Talking

Okay let's get this straight - is this going to take place next weekend, 11th or the following, the 18th? (Happy Feet starts the 17th, I am down for that, it looks funny.)

I like your plan Lil'Red.... I will be around that weekend, I'll be in NJ next

The restraunt in Jordan's is Kelly's Roastbeef. (lil' red; it's very cheap and yummy but no beer from what I remember!)

For those of you who don't know where it is: John Harvards Brewary is just across Rt 9 from Jordans in Shoppers World. (average prices like Fridays.)

Thanks for the info on Kelly's restaurant. Perhaps he was thinking of the one in Jordan's Reading. I love roast beef so it sounds very yummy to me! I can live without beer, if it's ok with everyone else. I'm just as happy with Diet Coke!

I was thinking of Saturday the 18th. We can meet at Jordan's Furniture, Natick, at 12noon and see the 2pm show, or meet at 9:30 at Jordan's, see the 10am show and have lunch after the movie. That might be more difficult for those of us coming from WAY out of town.

Happy Feet is animated and kind of a "kiddie" movie, but it's on a 5-story screen. How can you beat that? And next May 2007, Spiderman 3D is coming out. Something to plan next Spring, hm?

So, to recap:

Where: Meet at Jordan's Furniture, Natick, MA
Time: 12:00 Noon
What: Lunch at Kelly's Roast Beef, followed by movie "Happy Feet" at IMAX at 2:00pm

Click here to Purchase tickets to Happy Feet in Advance

Click on Natick and follow online instructions. Given the prolonged and excessive advertising for this movie, I would recommend pre-purchasing tickets, especially if there is going to be a large group of us. That way we don't have to worry about them running out before we all have tickets.

There are a bunch of big names doing the voices for this movie, but I agree - Robin Williams rocks!!!

Why Should I See Happy Feet (2D) in IMAX?
* One giant screen with dancing penguins, more than 5 stories tall!
* Amazing image clarity - the film has been digitally-remastered into 70mm IMAX format
* 12,000 watts of digital sound with butt-kickers in each seat

What day? The 18th? (I can make that...).

Lil'RedShinka, could you please start a new thread then? Call it something like "Massachusetts meet: Jordan's IMAX & lunch, Sat Nov 18th", to get the casual readers' attention.

nah, just a normal kid going to my towns public high school... i'm pretty lucky and i happen to be a part of a pretty wealthy family... so my parents paid for most of the car on the basis that i get only A's for the rest of high school and go to an ivy league school... im hoping i dont come across as one of those incredibly rich and spoiled kids that gets everything they want, because i definitely dont think i am.

why'd you think i went to a votech school? maybe saw my fiberglass enclosure DIY?

^ Nah your town is in the middle of nowhere and I remembered sumthing about straight A's.. I went to Blue Hills VoTech and it was pretty easy in some classes to pull that off haha.

And dont worry about the assumptions unless ya roll in on 19's and saying "Yeah my dad got me this.. and my mom got me that.." ya definately wont get type casted Hey if my mother or my father (divorced) told me "hey we'll buy you any car you want if you do XXX and go to XXX afterward" I would definatly jump on that chance lol. Should ask them "Mom, Dad.. I want this Mazsport type 1 kit for my car. If I become a doctor or lawyer can I get it for Christmas"

And remember ya must of that signed permission slip passed in by next Wed or you can't go to the Meet.

Problem is, the weekend after that is Thanksgiving and a lot of ppl travel. I think Clav is right - stick with the date and hope as many can make it as possible. We can always plan another casual meet after Christmas, when the holidays are over and ppls schedules calm down a bit. (For those of us who don't put our cars away for the winter.)

I'm starting a new thread for this event only, so hopefully we'll pick up some more interest there!

Sure ya can.. Me and Astral will just beat ya up and take it from ya though haha..!

So yeah seeing more previews of this movie and starting to like it, just seems like a nice relaxing movie to have a few inocent chuckles. Oh and Robin Williams have I mentioned him yet lol.. he's a voice haha.. Seen a bunch of toys for it at Kb-Toys wish I had a GF to give one to they look so cute (in a manly way of course!). Definatly a points winner that is for sure (for anyone wishing to gain points with the oposing sex haha).

Hmm my birthday is today got my car washed at a nice place in Walpole and went to the walpole (strip)mall and couldnt find anything to buy for a gift for myself.
The place that washed my car does some "quickie" type detailing work for what seems to be decent pricing ranging from $19-$35 and I think one is higher but it includes everything full interior cleaning and exterior wax/polish. Krysty any idea how much that guy charges that you and your boyfriend mentioned to me? Thinking I might use these guy through the winter and the man you mentioned durring the spring/summer. Oh and if anyone knows a tinting place around ya thats good and somewhat reasonable please post it in the thread I started about Tinting Places thankies lata for now
