I think Monroe put my pads on wrong. I have a ton of dust comin out from over there and I have no clue how to fix it.

Is it more dust from the rear left than all three of the other wheels or just more from the rear left than the rear right? You sure they put the ceramic pad on that side? Hopefully you kept your pads. Your rears should never generate more dust than the fronts but if the rear left is engaging a little more than the rear right you might get more dust... Might just be in need of a brake bleed in that case.

 

I have no dust on the front or right rear. The left rear on the other hand...it's pretty bad.

 

Have you washed it since you changed the pads?

I'm betting you gave them your rear right stock pads to replace your rear left stock pads. Your ceramics are probably still sitting in one of the Hawk boxes.

I have to swap out my pads this weekend (those race pads are incredibly freakin' loud - like bus braking loud but louder). If you can find a nice level spot and have a half-hour to kill we can do yours.

 

You can use my garage tomorrow if you want. I work on Sunday though. And it is the right pads. Dust went from black to brown. And I did clean them after we swapped the pads

 

I'll be around tomorrow if you guys want to work on them and use the air compressor. You really are welcome to come over. Only, during the day hours, please.....LOL

 

That might be easier. I'm sure we'll figure out something after a few beverages. Things always seem to clear up nicely then.

FWIW I'm a lot better at this then I was when we first did John's car. I can do fronts in ~45 minutes and spent about 90 minutes doing my rears. I'm thinking it'll be even a little less after all the tire changes I did last weekend.

 

I don't mind drivin to Doc's for the help. I'll even bring some brew for yall for the assistance.

 

We can make plans tonight. Anybody want to cut my grass while you're there?

As Yulia mentioned at the last meet, we are hosting a Halloween party at our house.
Its not going to be anything big, just a handful of people coming over to drink and shoot pool.

• Alcoholic drinks and snacks will be provided
• Feel free to bring your own poison
• Halloween costumes are optional, but most of us will have one
• Due to the late night drinking, this will be an adult only party
• Directions from north:
  • Take RT8 South and get off at the Tallmadge Ave exit.
  • Turn left onto Tallmadge and stay in the left lane (unless you need to pass a slow driver).
  • Turn left onto Hyde Park (you’ll see a Family Dollar across the street from Hyde Park)
  • Take Hyde Park to Jeanie J and turn right. Our house is the first house on the right.
  • You’ll have to park somewhere on the street.
