Saw a 40th Anniv on my way to work this morning on 480. First one I've seen in the Cleve area besides mine.
Ok...so I figured out where the guy with the GG RX8 at East Gate works and left a message with a coworker for him to join us here and at the Lizard. He is one of the cooks from 5th Ave.
Don't forget everybody...this sat...Cruise for Cops in Canal Fulton with the c6c and Tuning Unlimited gang. Should be tons of fun.

We average about 10 people per meet.
BTW...saw two 8's today after the Cruise for Cops. There were White and Red 8's at the Lizard. Man do I really need to get the car flyers done already!

Wow.
******* awesome. All these little things we do - suspension tweaks, brakes, alignments, tires, wheels, etc.... They all really do add up.
By the end of my HPDE at Mid Ohio I was passing 350Zs that we being driven pretty well and keeping up with a 997 GT2 that was not being driven as well as the 350Z but was being driven pretty good. I had the line down pat and was driving it as hard as a person can w/o being able to trail brake, heel toe, or any of the more advanced things you can do with a car.
When you go for a full two laps with no traffic and you're still have a ****-eating grin on your face as you tailgate a $250k GT2 at the exit of a turn that you gave a passby down a back straight 5 miles of track before... Well it's a nice way of redefining a Sunday drive.
I think I'm going to Sebring in January.

Thanks. I really wish we still had the Mazda event this weekend. Woulda been great to see how what I learned at MidOhio translates to other courses. Everyone says that MidOhio is one of the most technical course out there because of the changes in elevation and the multiple corners connecting but my only other experience is Nelson's and that was a long time ago.
Hopefully the weather lets me get out to that funday at the end of October. I also wish I'd gotten some pics/vids. I took a few of the people I was with but kept forgetting to line someone up to get some of me.
Speaking of pics... John you still sitting on all those gigs of pics you've been taking? I checked out your crack monkey site and didn't see anything.
Oh and with the brakes I have I found out exactly what my wheels would look like powdercoated a dark gray. They look a ton better then when they're shiny silver. Almost definitely adding a good powdercoating to my list of offseason chores.

Nothing much to talk about!
I put off replacing my rotor until last weekend.
I needed to borrow my dad's impact driver (I really need to purchase my own) to loosen the two screws.
After I get the BHR ignition coils installed, the next project will probably be a new fuel pump.
Other than that... same old sh*t, another day.

Ditto here. Maybe a little earlier if I can. Depending on the traffic and when I escape from work.
Might only be staying for an hour or so. Trying to get drinks later that night with a girl who was driving her Boxster around MidOhio this weekend. Gets preference over you all.

But didn't you prioritize two girls over us at the last bar we met at?
I remember us standing outside... but no Ryan!

The last bar we were at I think I was techinically left behind (or dragged back in). The one before that near Hudson I think I was going to see a different girl. Happens.

herrroooowwww!
I'm planning on coming up there. I don't know if I'll bring the 8 or my ****-*** motorcycle
Sort of mad at the car right now... after all that trouble to order new LEDs for the parking lights and to install them : BOTH are burned out already. . . still better than flashing blue.
And, its my own fault, but the hole I burned in the heat shield while working on the exhaust is starting to rattle a little... so I have a few more projects to do before winter... and probably brakes.
But, I'll be there!

I haven't really read the rules of the forum (at all)
But it seems because he was the first to really throw the names of administrations out there that is what crossed the line.
I don't think he could be held responsible for what discussion transpired from the picture he posted.

17. Do not start threads or submit posts on religion or politics in the Lounge area or anywhere else. Experience with the forum has proven that political or religious discussions inevitably become flamefests, which are prohibited (see the first rule above). So don't start them.
EDIT: Reading the new stuff on that thread they do seem to straddle the line between politics and non-politics. But I guess bringing up politicians names pretty much jumps past any gray lines...
