I have a longer drive and I hate calling. I wish they had a store pickup option so I could have my order ready when I get there. Their shipping really is outrageous.

Doc...Ryan...Brian...thought you guys might be interested in these. The d00d refuses to ship but it might be worth the drive if he is willing.

Yeah, I was planning on Sushi on Friday. So I'm in.

-Mazcare shipping me a new **** for the heater - Jon, your price of 40 from the dealer isn't bad. I got 35 shipped from Mazcare... but 5 bucks is 5 bucks I guess.

Ryan - Feel like doing some brakes this saturday?

Might be able to in the morning or later in the afternoon. I'll be down in the Valley for the Buckeyes game at noon. Probably better to do it early.

Also a little dependent on my SUV hunt. If things go well on Friday I may need to spend Saturday morning signing papers. Course I may sign them on Friday.

Rough day on Saturday. After working all day, I'm leaving Playhouse Square at the same time the elderly are all pouring out of a matinee performance of something or other, and narrowly missed getting completely crushed by a really, really old guy who blew through a red light light at the corner of E. 14th and Prospect.

I thanked my lucky stars and made it safely back to Strongsville, where I stop at the grocery store. I emerge after an hour and find this.

That's why you have to park in the back row across 3 spots...

That really sucks though. It may be too late now, but you could have asked the store to review their parking lot tapes. My grandmother (she doesn't drive anymore and doesn't live in Ohio) had a hit and run in a parking lot at walmart and was ticketed, even though it was private property. I don't fully understand how, but that's what happened.

If you remember the exact times, dates, and where you parked, its a possibility you could get a plate number of who did it. It really doesn't look like a shopping cart.

Or just crash into something worse and file the claim.

It's mainly a scrape and white paint transfer. It definitely wasn't a cart. I didn't take note of who parked on my right side. I usually try to park away from others but I was lazy this time. Since there's really not much in the way of an actual dent I'm thinking that it was a glancing blow by a vinyl bumper cover as someone backed out and cut the corner too sharply.

I should probably speak with the store manager re video, but I'm pretty sure there is none unless Heinen's modified the set up after they took the space. The previous chain that occupied the space is my client and since I handled all their litigation I know that their set up didn't cover this part of the lot.

I'll be cutting out of work early to day to get estimates. I'm guessing it'll come to $2 less than my deductible.

It's been ongoing for a while. I doubt they're able to beat OnlineMazdaParts.com with shipping but I really am not buying unless it's wicked cheap for a year.

Da Plan:

Early 09: Midpipe (moved up due to Scotts likelihood of going under)
Mid 09: Cobb AP
Late 09/Early 10: MazdaSpeed Bodykit
Late 10/Early 11: TUUUUUUUUURRRRRRBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOO

Plan on completely tracking the 8 in 2011.

In between I'll need to do more HPDEs, get the smaller things like racing gauges, etc. I was gonna get the AP in January but I decided to go to Sebring and run the car for the weekend instead.

If I saw the midpipe I'd jump on it today but everything else is on hold due to funding. Plus the body kit will be significantly cheaper if I enroll my car in the Mazda Competition stuff and I don't want to do that, or turbo, until I'm willing to go out of warranty. Kinda hoping my engine needs replacing before that so I have a fresh 13b to turbonate.

Course the cost of those last two things will also effect my ability to get a replacement DD for the 8... either whatever holds the new 16a or something else entirely.

Plus lots of **** will probably happen to ruin my plans. Marriage, kids, a house, civil war, jobs... All of those things could eff it up. Or I could win the lotto on Wednesday and everything gets accellerated.

Passed a guy in a white 8 this morning on the way to work going the opposite direction. He had a nice tint on his windows. He saw me, and his head spun around so fast I thought it would come off. Too bad couldn't pass a flyer.

Ryan, with you tracking the car, you can sign up directly with Mazdaspeed and get their direct pricing. https://www.mazdamotorsports.com Go to login and new user link. You'll have to submit some of your ax results (you have to be actively competing). Prices are about 1/3 off.

Pretty sure signing up and submitting timed results gives Mazda reason to deny warranty claims.

1/3 off... hmm... that may not even be worth it. OnlineMazdaParts is close to that number. I'll have to check the prices again.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...subcat2=121485

MSRP = 4408
OMP = 3425
1/3 off MSRP = 2909. So I would save 500 bucks depending on the shipping. OMP is free - dunno about the mazda comp unless I can order from a dealer.

That's been debated extensively on this forum and no one has had any warranties voided. Besides, if you do all that stuff to your car, you think they're not going to notice?

The only thing I'm worried about is the engine. I have all my OEM parts related to that. If I blow my engine or lose enough compression to have it replaced the car that will show up at their shop will have a stock exhaust, a stock intake, and some shitty stock coils.

Pretty sure the transmisison warranty expires in June and after that all I'll have is the engine.
