I assume you guys would want to do the usual Saturday meet? Just give me a few weeks notice on whatever days you decide because I work Saturdays 4pm-11pm so I'd have to ask off.

 

I work Wed - Sat 8AM - 7PM so I think you're safe Josh.

The two dates coincide with other dates in which I know I have to be in town. So far I've got nothing in March keeping me in town so I'm open to suggestions.

 

April 9 is the first NASA event of the year at Mid Ohio so I (and probably Doc) won't be able to make that one, but I'm hoping to see you guys at the others.

For some reason, this winter seems longer and shittier than last winter...

 

Yes the truck is almost completely finished but not quite.

Heads refinished, new lifters, push rods, gaskets etc. Had to replace the spark plug wires because two of them were bad. Autozone replaced them underwarranty good thing considering there was only 30 miles on them. So now it runs as a V8. Only problem i'm having now is the battery isn't charging. The accessory belt tensioner got broken at some point i figured out so I don't think the alternator is charging it. This should be the last problem with the exception of a slight oil leak from somewhere.

I finally just took it to a shop to have the tensioner put on because I don't want to break another. Hopefully it will be done on Thursday.

 

As of right now I should be OK for those dates.

 

Who needs jackstands so they don't have to keep borrowing from Steve... ???

Well... Ice Storm, huh? That's pretty hilarious.

Baldwin Wallace still made me go to class last night... Bronco had literally over an inch of ice on the hood.

Makes it hard to believe the first NORA Autocross is only 60 days away.

looks like my CRV. I couldn't get into it yesterday. oh darn, couldnt go to work. lol.

I swore i could hear my 8 in the garage laughing at the CRV though.

Went out last night with several pitchers of luke warm salt water, ice scraper and some patience and worked on the passenger door. took about 30 minutes. Got it open and started the engine. let it run another 15 mintues to get warm. from inside, i broke through the ice sealing the driver side door. An hour later, all windows were cleared and i drove it to the store.

Lunchtime today i pulled dinner pizza pan size (and larger) sheets of ice off the hood and roof.

Ohio weather FTW!

^^^Theres a 2004 Gray 6pd GT down in Columbus with clear corners and a Mazdaspeed front bumper and side skirts with 84k miles for a little over 8 grand.
