That is what I thought too but last time they told me I was a rookie because I didn't have at least 3 runs a year. Sooo who knows what they will say this time... if I decide to run, which I probably will.

Looks like production of the RX8 was stopped yesterday... I didn't think it was possible for me to hate April 15th more than I already do... but damn.

That's cool then. I can't remember if there was a R there or not. They might still have spare Rs anyway that they hand out as long as you have the other numbers/letters.

how did the meet go? i couldnt go cause i had my son over last night and i had to get ready for my brother in law to come today and unload a moving truck (moving from tampa back to cleve and they are storing everything at my house.....)

 

Meeting went well, Meg had some issues with her focus's clutch MC deciding to not work anymore.

Nate: What wheels and exhaust do you have? When I went out you were on the phone and on your way out, but the bumper and car looks really good!

10.30 will be well into the first run group. If you're going to come out, I'd say be there by 10. I'll probably be in the first run group, and doc, brian and megan will be in the 2nd cause they're running "pro" class.

OEM exhaust, just larger tips Last car was loud, trying to stay quiet this time around.

Rims are just some BBS knockoffs by Exel (very inexpensive). Only 7.5" though. They were the best I could afford with that stimulus check 2 years back. I had some pretty specific requirements for new rims: Use existing tires due to $, weigh no more than OEMs, be "mesh" style, have a nice size lip, and have the "hyper silver finish". These were a pretty good compromise. They do good at hiding my unpainted calipers too . They are in horrible shape.

 

I dunno, i think they look good. very good condition.

And as for the calipers. I dunno... I catch a lot of **** for having painted calipers.

My brother-in-law will be competing in a toughman competition this Friday (April 23rd) in Akron.
Doors open at 7pm and fight time is 8pm.
I have a few tickets with me selling for $20/ticket.
And I asked.... they will be serving alcohol.

Hope the AutoX went good for you guys. I woke up this morning planning to go looked outside...hesitated, opened a window. Looked at my clock and went back to sleep. Just to cold and rainy to stand around resetting cones for a couple hours.

 

Just as an FYI Brian but I've had the same problems you had. Just brought up my Firefox browser tho and everything loads quick. So if you have access to Firefox/Mozilla you might want to try using them rather than IE.... Assuming you're using IE.

 

Jon: I think you can count me off the list for this friday. $40 is a bit steep for Kristen and I. Plus the 20-30 bucks we'll drink.

Josh: you didn't miss much as autocross... it was cold and rainy. It was still fun, but you really had to drive more restrained.
