The only SS lines that I would stay away from are the Techna Fit. I've heard of those coming apart on people....

Plus I don't think Steve is goig to be driving te 8 in the winter anymore now that he has the Bronco. But knowing him he'll probably ride aroudn on the motorcycle heavy snow days. Less contact patch in snow = less rolling resistance and better handling right?

So, lifetime warranty it is! Ryan, my car is not going to be driven this winter, I have the Bronco for winter duty.

probably... I'm trying to get a few more motorcycle days in before the season officially ends. Too bad there is so much work to do be done still on the Bronco. My "foot vents" keep getting bigger. . .

I didn't have a bad experience with Bryce, I just didn't agree with how the business was being run. I'm sure personally he's fine, but Brian makes a valid point that they make everyone wait until they can place an order that meets their price points. RaceRoots might be different though, I'm willing to give them a chance.

ahhh
Yup!
The first time I swapped fluids in the transmission I had the car perfectly level using a 4' level.
Pouring it into the tranny through the fill plug took awhile because you have to run a hose from the engine bay (next to the oil filter), down the tranny, and into the fill port.
But doing it the "proper way" I used exactly 2qts of oil.
I could feel the oil right at the opening and it was just about to start pouring out.

So now all I do is drain it normally (duh) and pour 2qts down the shifter.
Done this twice already without any problems.

Yeah... that sucked.
You *can* remove the tranny without draining it as long as you keep it level.
It was when we started to lower it and tilted the rear-end down that the oil started coming out.
Lesson learned... just spend the couple minutes to drain it.

After the last "On Tap" incident. (Lack of decent Beer selection - hard to find - poor parking) I figure I would offer this one up for consideration.

Its the bar I always go to after hockey... so its real close to me, but they have a great beer selection.

Pretty easy to get to, right off 77 (like, see it from 77)

Yeah, just offering it up if there was any interest. Its a place we haven't been to yet. I like those non-chain places.

I revoked my bar picking privileges after on tap... I should have known when they didn't post a beer list. All the signs were there... (except a visible one on the front of the building)

We can do the place out in "Streets-Tucky" where Jon wanted to last time. I think it was the Roadhouse out there. I just like throwing peanuts on the floor.

Alright, just don't bother me with it. Its already bad enough that while most people there don't know me, they see me socializing with the "black sheep" so everyone won't like me by default.

You're actually doing me a favor... cause I'm sure in-time they wouldn't like me anyway.

I looked this up to change oil in my tranny and rear end also.

Tranny = 1.6-1.8 Qts. But it will indeed be fine with 2 qts.
Rear End = 1.4 Qts. (You can't rally put much more than 1.6 in no matter what.

Alright,

Yes i can lift the car up friday night and try to get some things done assuming i can get my hands on some tall jacks...

I have 2 garages at my establishment so we will be using the rear one which ill clean out a lil, its a 2 car garage and only my car will be in it. Plenty of room, ill also pull my surround sound out so we can listen to some music (macbook pro + ipod touch remote win)

TOOLS:
I have quite a few sockets however in the years ive had them many of them have gone missing, though ive mixed them all together so we should be ok there. If you have a socket kit, bring it, just in case. Hammers and **** (though i hope thats not needed). Drain buckets and stuff should not be an issue, i also have gojo soap =)

The day:
Assuming i can get the car lifted and everything setup the night before we can start as early as you guys want. 9am sounds fine. If you need to take a nap because you have 3rd shift *hint* i have a guest bedroom in my house if you get that desperate. Food / drink will be provided, if you want beer, bring it... im hoping we will be done before 5pm but for those of you who drink all hours of the day, bbyb <<not 21 cant buy>>

WHERE:
12648 main market road burton ohio 44021

If your coming from 422 EAST... im right on the other side of a huge lake called ladue... 3rd driveway up the hill on the left. ( i assume most of you will be coming from this way) You will run into 44 right before the lake.

Bring anyone you like, i have a huge driveway and will order as much food as necessary... Weather should be fair.

If you can get started on regular jack stands thats fine.
That way you and Steve can get under there for the cat and cat-back.
When I arrive with the tall jack stands, we'll just swap to those then.

Music is always good as long as its not Country or Rap

I'll bring my collection of tools.
Maybe Steve can bring a handful (or two) of his Metric sockets.

Wow... thats pretty much a straight shot for me.
Just have to go up 43 to 306 and turn right on 422
Is your driveway the one with all the trees around it and next to a 'highway divide' sign?
I'm looking at your address in Google's Street View.

I'll grab some of the larger ones, the 22 and 24mm sockets for the transmission drain/fill plug and I'll bring my normal set of sockets just to have them.

I'm going to try to leave by 7 and head up there, puts me there by 8ish and we can get started. I'll bring some beers "its 5:00 somewhere!"

Another woot off today over on woot.com! Wonder if a progress tech front sway bar will be on there. . . .

No... I'm never lucky enough to "checkout" quick enough.
I'm usually at work on a slow-*** Dell which takes forever to load the next page (doesn't help that the Woot server is also getting slammed with traffic).
Me and the other Techs are usually cursing at our monitors around that time.
If you can't checkout in 3 minutes, you're too late.
