I think you and I would get along IRL. I am already driving my wife nuts with this car and you know how long I have had it. That is ok though as she forgets all about it when she is in the driver's seat. How far is your new house from the Summit Mall?

I am sure you all have your own sources but I thought this would be helpful in finding the right light when ordering on the internet.

Over by hickory across smith (by the library) or the other side on Fairlawn proper? Because my 8 is just off hickory on vesper. Surprised u didn't hear the sound of a borla at 9200 rpms last Saturday regardless.
I'll be bullshitting my way through gauge installs all weekend and probably spending qt at Arnies in between.

The 8 is a luxury item for me... My new job is going to have me traveling most of the time during the week and weekends will be family time. With the economy the way it is I'd rather have the money in the bank than an extra car in the garage right now.
I'll miss it, but you may see me back in a year or so with an R3

You rock John thanks. I am really looking for someone that wants rid of something collecting dust in the garage you know? The OEM RX8 are only 68 at Park mazda. I think I would break even with no shipping and the 63.05. Clears used are hard to come buy. You may have read me trying to get that cat to trade me +25 but he wont respond to any of us.
Edit: Jspeed did you place it on Akron/Canton craigslist as well? I know when I was shopping I never really thought to look on the cleveland list just kept looking at Akron/Canton. Yeah kinda dense I know.

I don't know why he won't. It's not like you are asking him to ship it as soon as he gets the cash or something. As for the mats...I have the OEM RX8 mats and the OEM All Weathers...if you get a choice...go All Weather. So much nicer!

The Weekend Plan:
FWIW I'm housesitting in Akron/Fairlawn where my car is stored on Saturay, Sunday, and Monday. Here's my plan:
Saturday:
-Get the car on jacks
-Try to install Lotek pod (includes removing radio)
-Drain oil (full 6qt drain)
-Install oil catch can
Sunday:
-Wire gauges (assuming Lotek install happened)
-Drain/Change Coolant
-Change Brake Pads
-add oil (5w40 for track)
-start the car with fingers crossed
-go to Autozone or Sears and get the parts I need when oil starts leaking everywhere
-start the car again. This time kicking things.
Monday night:
-Clean up my mess after work but before the Buckeyes game
Flexibility on some of the items (pads, coolant) so if someone's available one day who can help and not the other let me know. There's also the possibilty that I will clean out my intake manifold since it was a little dirty in there (probably closer to Jon's clean manifold than Steve's dirty one) but knowing the time it takes me to do work vs. the time listed I'm betting I'll run out of time w/o removing the manifold.
If anyones in the mood to assist feel free to stop by. I have no idea if I'll be capable of wiring the gauges so I may nix that if I decide it's too much.
Oh and I'll have plenty of Bud Light in the fridge.
