Good point. If you (the club member) has invited a non-club member to go on the drive, please make sure you get a cell number for them and include it in the PM to dmc and Mendossa. They are working together to create a spreadsheet.

Also, please let them know if you are coordinating a meeting place for a sub-group Saturday morning, to head up to Brattleboro as a group. You will be listed as the contact person for that meeting spot. For example, I have offered to meet ppl at the Park & Ride at Bow Junction, at the end of I-89 on the Bow/Concord line. It's easy to get to from I-93, so if anyone is coming that way, it's convenient.

DRK, you need to stop apologizing! You've done awesome!! In fact, it's a tribute to your awesomeness that everyone is so willing to jump in! You've done great, fearless leader! (Over the top?) Seriously, I agree that everyone has done a great job! People have been so willing to show and use their strengths, and that's going to help make this a great drive! Relax and enjoy it!

As soon as the contact list is complete I'll pm everyone to know where they are departing from and if/where they plan to meet-up.

Then I'll try to arrange an official schedule of meetup points and times and find people interested in being the "navigator" for every meetup point until we're all together.

Actually, the meeting place for Brattleboro will be at one of my stores.

Here is the address so people can map it out:

972 Putney Road
Brattleboro, VT 05201

The comradery associated with this run has been so inspiring to my buddy from Nashua, NH he wants me to help him buy an RX-8 this weekend so he will have his own car to drive.

That means I need to find someone else to bring my FD RX-7, but that shouldn't be too hard.

Great work everyone!!

Oh, before I forget again, don't forget your bug spray/lotion. Adirondack black flies will carry small children away if left unattended.

I took Deslock's lead and booked a room on travelocity at the Summit Hotel for $78 plus tax. This was for a queen sized bed for two adults.

Those of you that sent me checks,

Rodrigo67
CTRx8

I can do the same for you if you wish.

Well taking the woman out in the car this weekend in hopes of getting her comfortable in her. Is it sad I'm worried how my baby is gonna recact to woman driving her. lol.. not saying women are bad drivers just saying I hope she doesnt get mad at me later on haha... but yeah I trust this girl with her and she was surprised when I told her I want her to drive it since she's going to be doing some driving durring the run hehe.. as I told her "I want you driving my baby on the run like you did Saturday night, very ******* aggressive!" she just said "oh god.. I might have to rethink this..!" and laughed.

She's on the fence still 'cause her daughters b-day is that week and again she tosses the party the following weekend. But I'm hopeful she'll throw it the weekend before. Be nice to have a nice weekend away from everyone.

two doubles works great. my 4 yr. old will enjoy having her own bed rather than us bringing her travel air mattress.

CTRx8-

there are no more rooms left at the Summit unless you get a Suite.

I found this though:

where is everyone else staying that's not at the summit? this looks fine but if i'm the only one there, i'd probably pick another just so that the groups stay together.

They are staying at the Hilton. Considerably more expensive but up to you. I am asking Darkrose about the same hotel I suggested for you.

Please email me at drksyde@gmail.com

Exclamation Excel file

Ok people, let's do this!

I just finished browsing thru the thread taking down notes and here's the result in Excel format.

DISCLAIMER!
1 - All the data gathered was taken from this forum so I supposed no one minds if I republish it here. Email and phone contacts will not be but online but PM once the list is completed.
2 - I'm not trying to bully anyone! If I made an error, please DO correct me by sending the right info! To send me correction/details/info, please use the forum's PM system!

Go to :
http://www.mendossa.com/RX8Club_2007_NE_Spring_Run.htm

Find your name! Now here's how it works:

WHITE BACKGROUND means I'm pretty sure about this info.
GREEN BACKGROUND means it would be nice if you could provide that info. (regarding email & phone, dmc27 is working on it so if you PM' him no need to send them a second time to me)
RED BACKGROUND is information that is required to make sure everything goes smoothly.
PURPLE BACKGROUND means I'm *suggesting* this as a possibility based on the info I got and would like to know if it's okay with you.

The main thing is to figure out where everyone will meet and at what time, making sure that no one is left behind and that we don't end up looking at our watches on the side of the road wondering where the rest of the pack is! Extra passenger count will be required to make restaurant reservations.

For me atleast the starting time for this will dictate if I'm going to be buying a motel in VT Friday night or not. The later the less likely I'll be buying a motel room, my girl hates waking up early so yeah lol..

^It's gonna be the 8am start. My drive will be at least an hour, prlly 1.5 hours. The only thing less exciting than waking my sorry *** up at 6am - well, it's the thought of waking Kathleen up at 6am.

Mendossa - I will double check on Dave (it's a black LegGT). He did not plan on staying o/n saturday night, & if I book something at the Brattleboro start point Friday night he may wuss out.

Subie guys - what can you do.

I've got the phone/email info for 19 or 20 so far. I'll give it a week from when I sent out the PMs for the rest to get back to me, and send what I have to you mid week. PM'd my other info.
