Hit the quote button in the lower right corner of that post, and then just type a line under 15 (or whatever was last).

I have a friend with a crossfire that wants to go and he can give the Auto 8's some company in the back as well. Haha, jk, that's my AT joke for the month, no more.

Yeah. A pretty nasty subie, at that. Scary. We'll have to arrange to box him in at every opportunity . . .

Any idea how many miles total from Brattleboro throught to the end (or Bethel?).

And there will be a gas station at least every 180 miles, right?

No worries about gas everyone.... We should be fine! We'll just need to make sure Clavius has a radio so we can all stop and wait for him!

Not sure how far this run will be mileage wise. I will tally it up and check. I will also see what travel time should be... maybe we can get in some extra miles or pit stops for photo ops!

It's about 150 miles from Albany to Burlington in a "straight" line. These two roughly mark the northern/southernmost points on the map. The twistie version prlly pushes 200-250, and that doesn't include another 80 from Brattleboro to Albany (mapquest). Plus the last leg back south . . .

Looking like a really nice set of numbers for a 2 day cruise.

Sweet! Dang this is shaping up to be pretty awesome. 16 on the list and 4 (non 8) friends makes 20 plus we have about 5 maybe's depending on schedule.

I think we may need to do two groups, but damn how sweet would it look to have 20 of us in a row?! We may run out of hotel rooms too! LOL.

LilRed is helping me organize this and is looking for little parking areas and scenic vistas along the way for photo ops.

Agreed dmc...

This does sound pretty sweet. Remember we will have about a 2 hour stop at Ausable Chasm Sunday morning.

This is looking pretty good, although I think any group over 12-14 cars is going to get pretty hard to keep inline. With all the stops, lights, and traffic, you get an accordion effect where the front is going about 45 and the back is going 70 to keep up.

You might want to consider 2 groups...maybe a regular group and the slower group. Put the rx8's of each group up front for the full effect and have the legacy, MS3 and s2000 trailing the quicker group, the mr2, me, and clavius will bring up the rear of the slow group...

^^ yup. (or, since it's a NE run - ayuh.) 2 groups will prlly be the best way to go. I'll do a little map searching and try and figure a more accurate # for total miles.

Hotels!

Ok I'm running into a unique problem. All the hotels in the Tupper Lake area don't have enough rooms. Not that they are booked up for that weekend, but they really don't have enough rooms period! The only place that comes close has 18 total rooms. 7 with two Queens and 11 with one Queen.

SO here are our options as I see it right now:

1. Move to a larger town with a larger hotel so there are rooms available to everyone in the same place.

2. See if any of the single guys wanna "bunk" with each other in the 7 rooms that have two beds available.

3. Split up the group at different hotels.

I need your help all! Give me your thoughts!
