You can paint them. They are removable inserts. Not that I want you to have the same wheels... We live too close together! LOL

They are brand new for 07'. Ordered them through discount tire direct. They said they are waiting for their shipment from Konig. 10 - 15 business days.

I remember seeing a post recently from someone looking for *1* replacement stock wheel (busted on a pothole). I guess the stock wheels are as much in demand as the stock catback is I'd use them to mount winter tires.

I almost bought a new set of wheels too but I decided I had to stop spending on the 8 at some point... exhaust, tires, pro detailing, decals, rotary accents, new camera, camera mount, camera car adapter, wide angle lens... ugh

I'm looking forward to seeing brillant blacks with black finish/chrome lip wheels on the NE Spring Run... that's what I'd like but I've never seen any in Real Life (tm)

almost went black w/polished lip. almost.

Instead, these shipped out today - and the waiting game begins. Which is especially frustrating for me b/c UPS lost one out of 4 wheels last year and I ended up never getting a new set . . . long story.

Same as DRK, tho - these are not the lightest wheels. But they're fairly cheap, and I'm putting the stock potenzas on and I'll just toss the stock wheel w/snow tires in storage til winter.

Those gold wheels will look sick on the NG. Sweet.

DRK - do you get a 2nd set of inserts w/the Konigs?

hehe, tempting, but I already have two replacement stock wheels (one perfect, one almost perfect) for my two curbed stockers, and the other two stockers are in good condition.

If you're willing to part with them individually to those of us who have curbed a wheel, I'd like to buy one! I took my car to the car wash last fall and got stuck in line at a Shell station in Concord. I think dinosaurs used this car wash! I got to the pay thingy and it didn't take bank cards, so I had to scrounge together enough cash for a wash, then I looked in and it had rails on both sides! I almost died!! In hindsight, I should've gotten out and asked ppl to back up for me, that I'd changed my mind, but I decided to chance it and one of the wheels caught on the rail and took the coating off. I was heart-broken! Of course, when I talked to the manager, she said they feel that the mirror they have mounted is sufficient for helping ppl guide their way in so they don't take any responsibility for damage. Needless to say, I don't even buy my gas there anymore.

If it makes you feel better - both of my front stockers have a nice gouge/rash spot from curbs - and the blame goes squarely on me.

At least you can turn you anger outward.

I'm forced to hate myself. lol.

Almost went with the deep polished lip, but EVERYONE with a BB and some others even have this setup. I want to be unique. Thats why I went with the Simota CF Intake. Not many had it. Thats why I want the Knighsport nose... NO ONE HAS IT.

DMC - No extra sets of inserts... THEY ARE $30 per wheel!!! I did chew the guy on the phone to giving me a discount on the wheels and mounting kit which essentially got me the mounting kit FREE! (Lugs, Locks and valve stems)

ANYONE - Anyone interested in my stock wheels can have them without the TPMS for $100 for the whole set. I said cheap and I meant CHEAP. I park mine for the winter so I don't need them for that. They are not perfect. The previous owner had some depth perception issues!!! They aren't HORRIBLE though. I would be willing to bring them on the run with me to save you shipping. ACTUALLY I could leave them at my parents house which just happens to be the last stop on the run.

Please let me know before I put them on the forum for everyone.

Nice work!

I did about the same. All the wheel shops price match, so I just took the lowest price and subtracted $50 bucks and had one "match" that price.

100 for the whole set? Damn thats a steal. I'd take them but I only need 1 and I'd have nowhere to put the rest. I think Shinka is interested in 1 anyone else want to split this?

Can I call dibs on this?

You can call dibs, but as I said. They are DIRT cheap. I want them gone as a set. Hell maybe you buy the set, and sell the others for more money?!

I know I could get more and if I don't get a buyer here I am going to double the price. This is a SPRING RUN price only. Cause I love all you guys!
