hey guys..finally back in philly for a few days working. I got my motor replaced and im going to sell my car. im trying to make it stock before i sell it.

ay guys, i'm running into a bit of a problem... since yesterday my car has been taking awhile to turn over and start. i don't know what the problem is, but i'm leaning towards the starter. if it is that do you guys have any suggestions on a new one, and if its spark plugs which would you recommend? thanks guys!.

 

^^ sparkplus there is only one kind, and I know there was an issue with starters before, check if your car has been updated with the new starter, Im pretty sure if you call the dealer they will tell you if your car has the new or the old starter.

 

car is in pieces and the block should be ripped apart by tomorrow. Jim has been taking pics of the whole process, when I get em ill post em. As of right now all of the rebuild parts are almost together, including 2 new housings if necessary. I'm getting the injectors completely cleaned and jim is gonna put the BHR kit in since it arrived while my car was at the body shop.

As far as the accident goes, they redid my passenger wheel well...so i have a new bolt were i broke the other one off from the hood props. So when i get my car back first things first is those damn hood props, lol.

probably next week. Which means ill be driving for like 2 hours a night just to break it in before the dyno day.

 

nice fransisco! =) ..... and im pretty sure the starters new b.c the had to change it like last April i think....but i talked to my friend he said it might be my coils and so on...

 

^^ take the sparkplugs out and clean them with a metal brush..

 

lols, thanks for the advice! but i installed a bhr ignition kit and she's working perfect now =)
