I'm also relatively new to the RX8 club only owning my Red "Stone Stock" 05 since August of 2012. I'm in Green Bay and just got wind of (2) vehicles, both 04's, in Bay Auto's walk thru. yard called "Grandpa John's Pick and pull". I haven't seen them yet although I will be stopping in there soon. I had similar mice damage on my 05 this winter.

I'm in Green Bay. Lookin to sell my 05, immaculate inside & out, Red, 6-sp., RX-8
$9,750, OBO. would incl. a second set of stock RX-8 wheels w/mounted Dunlop,Direzza Z11, track tires for $900.00 additional. I paid $600 for the wheels last spring. The tires have only 4 track days on them.
I'd also incl. an orig. gutted Cat pipe with the sale of either above item.

hi guy's i bought an '2004 GT bone stock, 58k. runs great, 15 mpg around town, 20 on the highway. Love it. Here in Menasha, WI, will autox next summer. Note, i am using premix from Mazdatrix everyone should, keeps the engine clean and lubed. I recommend it, Idemitsu brand premix.

Can anyone tell me where the best place to have a true rotary compression test done on my 8? I'm in Kenosha. Would like to stay in WI. I hate Chicago and all its shitty toll roads.

 

Did you try Boucher Mazda? Never when in for service but Ive seen Rex's there before...

 

What color was the one you saw? I drive a black r3 and work around there, just took it out of the garage for the season recently..

last week; Saw a winning blue right in front of the new Costco in the same area lol!! i flashed you like 3 times no response. my lady was like "he probly just thinks you're crazy" XD




Also today 4/17 i was at work in front of the Festival on 80th in Keno, takin out the trash as usual, Sunlight Silver or Titanium gray on some gray/gunmental wheels with exhaust. dude was in a white hat and shades. pretty clean. i can't go that loud when I've got my little one back there someday :P but respect. clean ride.

Saw a blue s2 (possibly r3??) in front of Target off 75th/50 yesterday morning during the heavy rain. Had illinois plates though XD

 

Just finished the rebuild on my TiGrey 04. Few bugs to work out then I'll be joining the few of us on the road that are still left!

Well I am proud to say that I am now another local RX8 owner. The name is Jake and I live in Racine.

I am a certified driving instructor as well as a competition license holder with NASA Midwest Region. Professional driving instructor with Xtreme Xperience to boot! Love cars, but I love driving them at their limits even more!

My fiance and I purchased a 2004 Velocity Red Mica Grand Touring edition from the local dealership. 60k miles on the clock and it's is absolutely clean! 3 days after purchase, her and I had it out at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI for Honda Meet (I race a Honda) to see what it was capable of! Haven't regretted my decision yet.

Learning the ins and outs of the car, mostly the maintenence aspect of it. Small oil leak somewhere in the engine bay causing the smell of oil to blow through the vents. I'll be hunting down the source of the leak and hope to repair it soon.

Anyway, I created this account just to say I saw a blue with black center rx8. Race is not important, but to point this ****** out, he was a black guy with a white gf.

I deliberately saw him reach his hand out the window and throw a fast food bag and trash out the window while driving. You are real classy there you piece of ****.

It has a body kit, wing, exhaust, and a turd for a driver.
