It has a new engine with 6,000 miles on it, along with new plugs, starter, cat, and intake manifold. Not sure what the deal is, but very rarely does it take that long to crank... Going to check the coils this weekend

0 misfires, and had the ecu flashed to M. She runs beautifully and pulls through redline. It's not something I'm worried about.

I have never seen so many tc's in my life. It's nice that 8s are "rare" here everyone says nice car and stuff lol. Back in VA 8s were rare but no one cared it was all about evos and stis.

Dent doctor in Brookfield came highly recommended. My uncle used them for his Corvette and was very pleased

No problem bud.
If it's just a small dent, Auto facelift on Lisbon road in Brookfield WI is very inexpensive. I wouldn't trust them for big repairs, but a dent shouldn't be a problem

When I was looking for parts, a few RX8s were being parted out in chicago if you don't mind the trip. A Grey one was posted on saturday in Jefferson Park.

Do you, or anyone in your club posses a rotary compression tester?
I'd be willing to meet up if we could do some testing.

Guess most of the 8s are all in the Milwaukee area. Pretty much see none in Ozaukee county. Wish there were more close by so I'd have someone with some rotary expertise to help with a few things.

I'd just like to take a crack at cleaning the SSV. Car throws a CEL for the stuck SSV every once in awhile during the winter months. I know the video is on here in the DIY section but that's something I'm not comfortable attempting myself.

77mjd, you might want to give Randy at Triple R Autosports a call. ((262) 719-0141) He might be able to give you some advice or do some service for you. A little drive for you but it might be worth it.

Zoom, Zoom!

The only one I know of is owned by a company called Turblown (Turbo Parts and Accessories) that's where I had mine done a while ago. Probably quite a drive for you though. I'll ask around my club if anyone has another way they do it.
