man i saw that meet and would have loved to have made it out there. only problem is if i went i would have to take the 8, and i just dont have the money right now. looks like fun. Bignatex do you spend time up at Mizzou? i just saw some of your friends and a couple of them go to mizzou so i was just wonderin.

hopefully we can get a meet soon I still have so much to do to my new 8 but I did get my club stickers back on so represent.

 

i think august would be a great time to meet. Charlies back, would give us plenty of time to get the word out and plan accordingly with food/drinks, route for cruise, etc... any thoughts? lets get goin on this meet though cause i agree we all need to get together and have some fun.

everyone should post some dates that they would like and a location. If anyone has a good route they like to cruise on nice days to post that.

My location would be Forest Park again, we met there last time and it seemed to work fairly well. Also not a bad photoshot location and pretty centrally located for food/cruise. Mid August would work better for me. Maybe aug 21st or 22nd??

yeah those dates sound pretty good for me I'll probably be getting back around the 20th so that sounds great the cruise i know a pretty good route but its pretty dangerous so lets find somewhere else its not condusive to more than a two car cruise not many passing areas.

 

We could certainly start planning a real get-together for August ... but why not have a quickie informal one before then? The 7 guys need a kickstart, we've been dead for awhile.

I'll ask again, would any of you want to drive out to my place in House Springs and have a BBQ planning session? There are some badass driving roads around here

 

im always down for a meet whenever. if its during the week im off work at 2 soi would have to make the trip but just let me know and id be more than happy to meet up and talk cars with anyone. june 30-july7 wont work for me though.

anyone know anyone with good painting skills that would like an rx8 for a canvas, i wanna paintjob for the 8 but dont have the money lol, or charlie give me your paint job and you can have mine. lol. i wanna go with a white and black theme. o how i wish Mizzou paid me more

If we do a shoot it either has to be right before/after sunrise or right before/after sunset. Since I don't get up that early unless I'm getting paid, we can do sunset :D Sunrise light is usually cleaner, but sunset light is more dramatic. And I can do rolling shots hanging out the back of my Tribute, just need somebody else to drive. I know plenty of nature'ish backdrops for shoots, but if you want a more urban/industrial backdrop then you'll need to scope it out.

boostd that sounds awesome I've been dying to get some good rolling shots and just some good shots in general a sunset shoot sounds like a great plan. I took a quick look at your portfolio there (I guess it'd be considered a portfolio) and you got some really great stuff there! I'll have to take a more in depth and thorough look when my boss isn't sitting right next to me.

Hwy 21 down by me is great for rolling shots. It's a clean 4 lane divided highway with little traffic and clean backgrounds. Here's a great rolling shot, too bad we don't have an ocean nearby

ha ha i was just looking at that pic thinking the same thing, i know the ti grey rx8 has been used in a bunch of shows or atleast it use to if i remember correctly, cause that was the car that had me wanting the mazdaspeed bumper a long time ago, and i had a decal a little simliar to that for a show a couple years back.

i wish we had a formula D event around here too, those pics from Chicago are sweet.

looks like i need to hurry up and get my rear end debadged if were talkin about a photoshoot.
