Official Chicago/MW Dyno Day
I uploaded about 90 pics to photobucket. http://gs246.photobucket.com/groups/gg96/283LQA631P/ For some reason I don't see any other pictures and all the pictures I uploaded say pending approval. Sly - can you look into that?
It is really cool to look at Rays dyno chart. Not because of the numbers (tho on the spray that would be interesting too) but because he has 2 tq peaks and the hp just keeps on climbing. I wish my car did that.
Just so everybody knows Falken and I are all squared up now too. It was a great weekend and I hope to be able to do it again sometime.

[edit] I approved the pics and moved them to the chicago dyno tune album out of the group album. [/edit]

I made it on saturday. importshowoff84 was there for one session. It was a great time. Great instruction, etc.
I actually liked the way they did instruction better than the in-car stuff. Of course, this was my 4th day at the track, so that may have been why. They posted instructors in many of the corners, and then you got feedback after your session. Or if they had something more urgent for you, they'd black flag you and you'd go in for the feedback in the hot pits and then head back out.
I think having an instructor in the car might be good for your first time on the track. But I found this less distracting.

I would have liked to have an instructor that day...I didn't feel comfortable, but that could also be that I didn't wanna run my car too hard not being fully tuned.
BTW.....I got everything squared away and they tuned my car for low boost yesteray and I put down 265 rwhp at 7 PSI. They are going to tune for my high boost setting today or tomorrow. Looking around 13 PSI. So we'll see what it all comes to.

Did Dave figure out the lean-out above 6k?
Yes....I appreciate the help!!! Apparently there was a vaccuum? line or some line, I can't remember what he said, but it was ripped which was causing the problem. Now tthe AFRs are where they need to be. So we'll see what happens today or tomorrow.

But I had fun and made sure I could drive the car home!
yea....not very exciting news either....im VERY disappointed with my kit. I dynoed at 272 at 9 PSI. Now, we can't get it up more than 9. We try to turn up the boost controller and nothing. We checked for boost leak and nothing. Tried different spring combos in the wastegate...nothing. Im pissed. IDK, Wed. im dropping it off again and they are going ot try to move the solenoid closer to the waste gate i think....and if that doesnt work who knows then.
yea...but before we set the boost controller....we were just relying on the wastegate, remember i had to shift at 5500 because it would spike to 15 psi? So....i know the turbo can achieve much more....right?

Yes, I did put the RB screens in but that was during midwinter the whole probably happened earlier.
