Sorry I missed it Husker, I was really looking forward to seeing your car.

I've been having a bit of a tussle with my sleep habits lately. Partial to a new game I purchased, "Juiced" ; school; work; and getting swamped with Computers to work on.

What are your guys schedules like on Saturday the 15th of October?

I think that might be a good day for the last meet of the year, I just found out I don't have to work that day too.

By Halloween it gets cold and people get busy for the other holidays.

I can host it at my place on the Saturday, October 15th and/ or Wednesday the 19th if that works better, Jason. Champa, grillin' :D got it, I'll supply steak and cervesa. If either day doesn't work for everyone and enough are interested I can host it on both days.

If more time is needed it could be on the Wednesday October 26th. Options are a beautiful thing.

Not a bad idea, if anyone else would like to do some installing on one of those days I am game.

Jason if you can't wait that long we could install it after I get out of class (10PM) this Friday. :D

If anyone has had experience puting a grounding kit in the 8 and wouldn't mind assisting, they are more than welcome to come over on one of the days I'm planning to BBQ.

I acquired one but haven't got motivated enough to put in.

Some of us are getting together for a cruise as well. We're meeting at the Burnsville Mall near the Sears parking lot (just drive around the lot and you'll see us I'm sure) around noon and leaving at 12:15 sharp to hit up the meet.

There's been hinting of an after meet cruise but I have no details on that.

So far we have 15+ people coming to the meet including at least one 20b owner. :D

Well after seeing Rxhuster's setup. I've decided to re-run my hoses similiar to his. But left out all the Vfad stuff. I also have two vacum hoses connected to my BOV. While I was At it. I attemp to get better flow with some parts from Home depot(this place is making a killing of me) hahhaha..

Anyways, after I finished. Took her for a test drive. It was a big different!!!!!!!!!!

I'll go into more details later .

I meant what I said, grounding kit, as in electrical. I would have said ground effects if I meant lights. I do like the looks of the LED ground light kit though. Sold by altimotors on ebay. They shine down as a focused dot on the ground around the exterior of the car underneath It takes about 5 kits to cover all sides, total cost about $270. :D

I am looking at that but in Minnesota it is illegal to be driving with it on. Not only that but since I drive in the winter they are more susceptable to damage.

I still want it though.

Thanks Champa, I had seen that one before but I forgot about it. Prolly why I bought the kit 'bout 4 months ago.

I bought a universal kit that ties more to the negative post. Not as impressive with the eight gauge wire though. I am considering some 4 gauge black wire high strand oxygen free...

I think ground kits should come in black. Anyone else thought of this?

Ground from the battery is always black why not have it black so it is easy to see that it is a ground?

There is such a thing as too much ground from what I have seen so it is best to tie in to where there are already ground points.

After puting the Revi and Ram air duct in Jason's car I think puting a ground kit in will be cake.

I am progressively working my way toward installing a supercharger.

re run Hose

First pic is my attempt to get better flow.
Instead of using a T connecter(90 degree angles).
I used a streight air splitter. The Source end is connected to the intake manifold nipple. The other 3 ends are connected to my boost gauge,BOV and greddy sensor.

the second picture shows I used a T connecter to connect the old Vfad vacuum hose & one of the 3 way air splitter end to the BOV.

Result are:
I don't get any hesitations even during cold start. faster response when I floor it.

nice champ!

btw the Revi Ram and Intake is awesome :D granted no turbocharger but the current SC offering looks like the Revi system could be retrofitted to work easily :D

Well while waiting for a better ECU and a bigger turbo that will work with the Greddy manifold. I am working on something that would always give me 50 degree air temp. Wish me luck..
