You should talk to anyone who has track experience that might be there. **** I might even be there.

Weather looks good for Sunday. If the forecast holds up I will definitely be there on Sunday.

Well the weather was great and my 8 performed great, finally got heel toe down and I shaved 8 seconds off my lap time. I have some pics of what happens when an EVO tries to out run an 8 Poor guy found out why you don't push yourself to hard through the Kink I'll post them soon. Also saw the new EVO X in action

Blue,

Mitch and Jeff say hello. Mitch took my car out and all I have to say is

Yea Saturday was bad. We drove up but it was snowing so we just watched a little then went to an indoor go-kart place. Sunday weather was great. My fastest time of the day had to of been my last session, I never saw a car. I forgot to turn my camera on for that session which pissed me off for two reasons. One being that I couldn't time myself and the other that my cousin blew chunks during my 6th lap. I wish I would have had that on video. The session before that I ran my all time best of 2:58 so I'm sure I shaved at least 5 seconds off that during my last session. I topped out 4th gear on all three straight which something I never did before. I even topped out 3rd in a few places I never used to, so I know I was carrying more speed into and out of the corners. I did the carrousel at 80 mph, but only after I saw Mitch do it at 85 in my car. That told me that the car can take it, I just didn't have the ***** to go 85. I was exiting the kink at 95 so I gained 10 mph there. All this with an extra passenger. The car felt great and planted, the heel toa method really paid out during that last session.

Once you learn how to downshift properly, you start wondering how you did it any other way.

Tell me about it. Though I did grind third a few times while downshifting. By the last session I was golden.

Yeah, when I was learning it seems much easier to rev too high than too low.

Coming out of the Kink, I was behind him. I was on that black patch right after the carousel as he was going into the kink. By the time I came up to the brake markers I saw the corner man start waving the yellow franticly. I knew what had happened, I hit the brakes and cruised through the kink, I have the after math on video. Any closer and I could have had the accident on video as well. According to the corner worker his rear end went onto the grass on the left while exiting and he committed a nonno and lifted witch upset the balance of the car, he then slung shot to the right wall, bounced off that and went head on into the left wall. The rear was busted as well. Turns out he wanted to be in group B because he thought he was a great driver, sorry but he was not. There is no reason why I should be catching up to someone in an EVO if they are a great driver. He was there with a buddy in a M3 who by the way also sucked cause I passed him right before the accident.
