Midwest F-Body Track Days EVOLV Members here!

Just post up if you are planning on going to the Road America event with the Midwest F-Body club. This way we can coordinate meeting and planning who brings what.

Thanks

Blue

Yes, I get the emails and all, but have yet to make it out to a meet due to living in Rockford. I plan on doing this RA event and as many of the Blackhawk events as possible this year since that track is right in my back yard.

I'm not going to be able to make it, but if anyone wants to borrow my canopy you are more than welcome. I know Blue has one, but if you want another one feel free. I also bought a cheap tarp to put over the top of it in the event of rain.

I think it was Ace Hardware. It is just a generic blue tarp. Nothing specially fitted for a canopy or anything.

Ah, that is really the only complaint I have about my canopy, is when it rains it just gets these big water areas.

It will fill up, people are adopting your strategy of wait and see.

I'm guessing mine would be the same, which is why I thought I'd buy a tarp.

It worked, because we had sunny skies the entire weekend at Gingerman

Their website has the schedual for the day as well as a list of the cars that are signed up. I usually get there by 7:30. Tech on Sunday starts at 7. http://roadamerica.fbody.us/

Who is going from the rotary group ? I haven't seen a list , unless I miss something . I dont plan on driving on the track , just want to see what's it like . Maybe i could ride with someone once I'm there , since its my first time .

Is there a group leaving from Chicago or something , if so what time . It' would be cool to drive as a group.

Thank ................

You know, that sounds good . I'll probably drive there that Friday afternoon , find a place to spleep at and be there at the track early in the morning. We'll keep in contact . I need to get a helmet, that wont be a problem.

I'll take you in on the rides , thanks . Hopefully some more of the guys will show.

I would love to come, but it looks like I should be saving my money after starting this new job.

I hear you, Erin isn't so hot about me spending my bonous money on track days. I need to do it now before the little one starts to bleed me dry

She already started, today we are going to get professional pictures taken. While I'm at it I think I may try to get her a gig on a commercial, it's time for her to earn her keep
