Dont know if Im gonna be able to make it now. I just got informed that it is a friends birthday that Saturday nite which = me stay up late drinking. Between that and me having to be on the road no later than 4:30 AM in order to make tech its probably not a smart idea. I can already see myself nodding off on the way home. We will see though, nothing set in stone yet.

 

I am going, i havent signed up yet though. it will be my 2nd race.

Well I reserved a 2 bedroom condo at the Victorian village. Both rooms are spoken for but still plenty of space with a pull out couch and air mattresses.

 

i'm only going on sunday.. i cant afford both days right now. lol.

Best thing you could do is to go watch a track event to learn what it is like.

Hey Devildog is your family going with you ? Because my spouse, is thinking of going for the drive . I'm thinking that , I'll drive Friday, leave here about 4 pm and get there by 6 pm . I'll rent a small place for the night and leave Saturday afternoon. You mention that I could use your helmet , so thats good .

I will contact as we get closer to the event , then will get each other's numbers.

My wife is coming but we are debating about bringing the baby. it all depends on hoe cold it will be. What run group are you going to be in (novice, intermediate, advanced, or assertive)? I ask because I will be giving rides to a few friends so I'll need the extra helmet. If you are in a different run group then we have no problem and you can use the helmet. I'm in the intermediate run group.

 

Well I'm not running I just want to see , what's it like . I'm going to get me a helmet , I figure the next time I go out there , I will get on the track. Now, do I have to pick a group if I ride with you or not?

 

^ No. If you are just getting rides the whole group thing doesn't matter.
