Not sure, I think you should be fine, but I wouldn't advertise the fact that you have 2 tickets waiting for you. Might look kinda bad.

Well, you can do touring for free during the lunch break IIRC, but there is technically a speed limit. You always have the option to only sign up for one day of the weekend if you just want to get your feet wet. They normally have instructors available to help you out if you are in one of the lower run groups, which you should be in anyway if this is your first time out.

What is your background?

Well, the weather is looking like crappy for both Saturday and Sunday At this point it looks like they have plenty of spots open in, Novice group only has 10 spots booked, Advanced has 9 spots booked. My plan is to see what the weather forecast is like on Friday, if their is a large probability of rain I won't go. If their is a slight chance of rain I may take the drive up their and see how things are looking. I won't be signing up until the day of the event. This SUCKS

well, im relatively new to tracks, ive been drag racing in the summer at route 66 dragway for a few years but those are just free runs. i would understand that this is completely different. i would like to maybe sign up or try something. my car does have a sparco torino seat, a g-force four point harness. ive been interested in doing this for a while that is why im asking questions. i want to do track days.

If you want to do track days you came to the right group. Look at the Track schedual thread a few threads down. it has a list of all the upcoming events.

Well, you have a great chance to do just that. Road America has some rental weekends for clubs that do allow ride alongs, or possibly getting a ride from an instructor. Do you attend any of the EVOLV meets?
