I've been sleepin' on the job lately, and been as lazy as I usually am. Once I get the paypal account going this will all be easier for everyone.

Na...I'm more like Costanza. I have a closed desk that I can hide under so no one sees me. If I could get a mini-fridge under there, then I'd really have something to be happy about.

Hey guys- just thought I'd pop my head in to say hello to everyone! I just got my Titanium Gray RX8 two days ago and wanted to introduce myself to the other Chicagoans (-ites?) here on the club. I think I may have to attend some of the track days on here- Autobahn is definitely a fun track ( did south in my ex-car) but I really want to try out Grattan.
Anywho, hello to all and I hope to see you all around! When and where are the official meets (if there are any) I need to get out and show of the pride and joy

 

Glad to see you made it here. The new meets are updated on the first post. There are a few track fans on here. I can help with some of the older tracks in the area (Road America, Blackhawk Farms & Grattan) as I used to road race at those. I haven't been to the newer ones (Autobahn & Gingerman). They oppened after I quit racing.
Maybe we will see you next Friday.

 

I can't do Autobahn yet (only 430 miles to go!!!) but I can say that South track is definitely challenging- it is very braking heavy, so be sure to invest in pads and rotors if you plan on going all out. As far as Blackhawk Farms goes, we should try to get an event there- I love that track (first track I HPDE'd at)

OK, it's official ... our group has gotten so big I got all confused!!! So, if you are in EVOLV-Chicago, please take a look at the first posting of group members. If your name is NOT there and should be, just let me know. Also, if you haven't received a welcome email from me with the list attached, let me know.

We have 60+ members and I want to make sure everyone is getting all of the info they need to make meets, etc. I think I got it all straightened out, but I've been wrong before (don't worry, it was back in 1987 so we're safe )
