The tour is 90 minutes and it is free.
There are displays for Mazda (Toyo Kogyo) history prior to manufacturing four-wheeled autos, the rotary engine, the Le Mans-winning 787B (if it's not out at an event), and a museum shop.
The best part is you take the Shinkansen train to get there!

OK, i see that no one responded, so I'll be the big mouth:

First off, you are always more than welcome to come to meets (and feel free to bring any 6's you'd like!) We welcome anyone as long as there is no hating within the group. So you have to put up with us looking admiringly at our cars

Secondly, I think most peeps in the group are very unhappy with Autobarn. I have heard so many first-hand stories of damage, shadiness and flat out lying that I will never ever take my car anywhere near there. Personally, I think charging $25 to get into a DEALERSHIP is absolutely ridiculous. That is like charging to watch a commercial on TV. I won't do it and I won't support it. The only reason it is listed in this thread at all is because our awesome DJ (Adamrotor) is spinning there that day.

I know I've said it to you before Adam, sorry I won't be giving Autobarn ANY of my ca$h.

So, arch, come out to a meet where us EVOLV peeps will actually show up. Sat, May 13th is one that requires NO entry fee!! If you want to get on the email list, just PM me and I'll show you how.

 

I havent heard anything about it so far. maybe its cancelled lol. I remember last year that I had some friends that came and they didnt pay so either its not organized or no one was taking cash.

I was amazed with the turnout of RX-8s at the Track day, -NOT
I was the only one!

Actually there was a Mazdaspeed 6 and an RX7.
However there was ton's of people.
Besides the Alfa and Ferrari club there was the Corvette club as well.
I actually passed quite a few Ferrari's.
(They were probably just driving slow because they don't want to crash 150,000 Grand
They also had the cannonball 1 lap of America.
It was awesome.
The most fun I've had in forever!
A lot of track time!!
What a great Event!
Highly recommended!

 

Awesome! I'm planning on going to the one hosted by the Lotus club ... I'm in love with the Lotus Elise and love watching it on the track. I've never been to the Autobahn (well, I've been on the one in Europe, but somehow I just don't think they compare) and am looking forward to it!!

Next time you want peeps to show up, let me know you're going and time/place you can meet up with them!

 

I don't know what track day you were referring to. I just was at Grattan Raceway on Friday. I was the only RX8 there. There were a few MX5/Miata's and a lone 3.

 

Ill come out to the meet but Ill be getting there after 5pm cause thats when i get off work if you still guys and girls gonna be there?

 

yep, if we're not out by the cars, we'll be inside the foundry. I'll bring the rotor sign again in case any new peeps show up (and have no idea what we look like). I'd guess we'll be down by the TVs and the shuffleboard.

Oh yea, there are a MILLION HUGE screen TVs at this place!!! Is that incentive to show up?
